Wow, your moniker is really accurate. Griffin is probably the most skilled PF in the NBA unless you count LeBron as a PF. I can't think of a single thing Lee does better. Maybe Lee has a slightly better jumper. Griffin is a much better ballhandler, passer and defender, and probably rebounder too (he just has the best rebounder in the NBA on his team atm so he is "only" averageing 10).
Haha alright Im done talking to you lol...Griffin most skilled PF in the NBA hahahahah have a good night
Try to watch other teams play sometimes. Maybe you can figure out why the Clippers are 6-2 without Paul when all they have is an unskilled PF leading their team.
No skills whatsoever: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/3xNRPyJvhq8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He was out with a serious illness for a long time and had lost like 15 lbs before he came back in a weakened state. The team played badly but it wasn't all Lowry's fault.
Why don't you try to construct a lucid argument for a change instead of just spouting useless platitudes and living in a world where apparently the only "skill" is bad shot selection. Another play from last week: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/feRonfPfi1E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> He does this **** all the time but yet everyone just thinks he's a dunker. Casual fans are so stupid.
He has a better post game than David Lee. Here are their shot charts: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/l/leeda02/shooting/2014/ http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/griffbl01/shooting/2014/ Lee is better at 1/5 shot ranges. Overall, Blake shoots better, rebounds better, passes better, and defends better. Yet Lee is more skilled. OK.
I dont even waste my time looking at that...i have been saying the whole time...Blake Griffin has a physical advantage compared to david lee and Scola. If Luis scola or Lee had a physical body like Griffin, they would be a superstar. Griffin is still only an all-star.
Physically Blake can do MANY things Lee and Scola can not do...he has Speed, quickness, hops and strong. Of course he SHOULD be the better rebounder and Defender. But yet he doesn't know how to play in the post...now you tell me who is more skilled?
You keep saying stuff without making an argument. I'm still trying to figure out what skill exactly it is that Lee and Scola have that Griffin doesn't. They are slightly better mid-range and FT shooters (although Blake's shooting is skyrocketing and he'll probably pass them over by next year). You make it sound like anyone who is athletic just doesn't have any skill, when it is clear that Blake is tremendously skilled as a ballhandler and passer.. much more so than either of those guys (or any other PF in the NBA outside of LeBron). He also can use both hands well, which is something that few bigs do well. Right now Blake is the 2nd best PF in the NBA if you want to put Love in front of him, and being top-2 in your position is pretty much superstar worthy, unless you are only calling like the top 5 guys in the league superstars. It's arbitrary. Casual fans like you just see some ESPN highlights and assume all Blake can do is dunk. Yet even when CP3 goes out, the Clippers keep clicking and that is because Blake is putting up monster numbers in his absence. Love puts up monster numbers but he doesn't win.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/s/scolalu01/shooting/2014/ That is Scola's shot chart. The 3-10ft range is the "post" you keep talking about. As you can see, Blake outshoots both Lee & Scola in the "post". The only thing Scola does better than Blake is hit the mid-range jumper. That is a skill, sure, but it is just one of many.
Griffin does have skills, i never said he didn't. But make mistake about it he is not the most skilled power forward in the NBA. Im talking about fundamentally sound skills.
What the hell is a "fundamentally sound skill"? I mean, you keep going in circles with your arguments. The FACT is that if you give Griffin the ball in the post, he will score at a much higher percentage than either Lee or Scola. Who cares how he does it?
Talking about Houston version of scola. I don't watch scola play much since he left. Blake Griffin has it easier because he is blessed physically. Around the basket he can out-muscle lay it in or dunk it in. But Luis Scola couldn't jump 10 inches and a lot weaker physically than Griffin and smaller. He can't bully his way in like Griffin does. Have you ever played basketball? If you size, strength, athletics matters just as much as fundamental skills.
