yup been saying this PB does the little plays that makes feel like you got this in a game like a big rebound or a block or steal and gets in ppls faces while he does it

They really are. They're the ones that you know are always going to bring the intensity and focus. They may have a poor game from time to time, but it isn't because they aren't competing or backing down from the challenge.

What a tremendous lift from Patrick. His positive impact on the game was obvious. Stay healthy! I hope this is the start of a run. Portland came in on a 5 game winning streak. They had beaten San Antonio and Dallas before coming to Houston, and we just slammed the door in their faces. How about we run off 5 in a row? If the Rocks can lay waste a team as good as the Blazers, why not? Sure, we won't always shoot that good from Downtown, but we were missing both Jones and Asik, with key players still a bit banged up. All we're missing now besides Omer and Terrence is consistancy. If everyone is healthy and playing, we have that depth so many of us have been jonesin' for. (it's Jonesin', Clutch, not "Jonesing!") So where are the negative Boo-Birds looking for some terrible dilemma to moan about from tonight's game? I just finished watching it on my DVR, being tied up with family stuff. Dare I look into the game thread??
Beverley didn't agree: "Lillard had 24 points. I didn't think I did so well." Wow pretty pretentious for Bev to say that, when he knows a lot of those points were scored on Lin.
Honestly, the game would have been perfect if Lin hadn't been stinking it up. I'm starting to genuinely be concerned with his game lately. He's been awful.
We beat one of the best teams in the league, a team that had just beaten San Antonio and Dallas, we were missing our young power forward, who has been coming on like gangbusters, we were missing our backup center, who's one of the best defensive centers in the league, and some of our guys are still banged up, and that wasn't "perfect?" All that with Jeremy playing 24 minutes. He must not have hurt our performance all that much.
I agree, and I wish people would quit pigeon-holing him into a defensive box. Patrick Beverly is a TWO-WAY player. He can shoot the 3, he has a nice floater in the lane, cuts to basket, and gives the Rockets second chance opportunities with his rebounding. I like the fact that he's not afraid of anybody. If Jordan was out there he wouldn't give a damn, lol. He may not be the best but he's mentally tough, and that's what the Rockets need right now.
Last game TJones said Harden's D was inspiring and encouraged everyone to step it up. I hope now that Bev's back, Harden doesn't feel he needs to step it up anymore.
Beverley had one of his best games of the season today, really hope his three point stroke keeps up, maybe that wrapped pad is a good luck charm That said, all three of a point guards have some upside and some major flaws. Bev has some great hustle and by far the best lateral movement on the team, however 2 out of 3 games his game are complete duds. JLin best drive and dish pg on the team but yo yo's like no other on aggressiveness, lateral movement on d is not as good as beverly. AB I is clearly the best 3 point shooter, and entry passer to dwight of the 3...unfortunately he is like 5'9 and skinny and consistently gets abused on d.
