I'm not sure how you can argue that Kobe is more skilled than LeBron. Skilled at what? I mean, maybe one-on-one he is more skilled because he's a fancier dribbler and has more range, but LeBron would still kill him at one-on-one. In a team concept, LeBron is way more skilled than Kobe because his bball IQ is much higher and he will always survey the defense to get the best look for his team.

Im just saying Kobe is overall more skilled than Lebron, But lebron does 2-3 things really well. who has a better back to basket, high/low post game Between. Who is the better shooter? How many ways can kobe get his points compared to Lebron? Lebron is probably the best ever at going to the rim for points because of that and his size and athletics Lebron is the better player of the 2.

It sounds to me like you are defining skill as the ability to make different basketball shots. But that is very simplistic. Basketball skill also includes positioning for rebounds, court vision, and defensive positioning-- all things LeBron is better than Kobe at. There are also things that fall under "basketball iq" such as managing the game and knowing when to pass vs shoot, which teammate is hot, and so forth-- and this is something that LeBron is FAR superior to Kobe at.

Kobe has more moves and is probably more aesthetically pleasing (like Jordan was). But I just don't see how he's more skilled unless that is your narrow definition.

You're relegating "skill" to only scoring. Not only does Lebron trump Kobe in certain scoring aspects, but what about other aspects? What about passing? 1-1 defense? Team defense? Rebounding? Shot blocking? Fast break abilities? Making other teammates better? All of these favor Lebron.

Hakeem was more skilled but this isn't the same argument, because Hakeem did all of the things I mentioned in my last post better than Shaq. He was also a master of defensive positioning-- in fact, that was probably his best advantage if you compare his skill vs other centers.

GS is such a pretender. I can't wait until the Clippers play them at full strength.

Klay Thompson loves to shoot going to his left. He is deadly that way. When will teams learn to chase him the other direction and force him to spin the other way?

Watching him score, it seems like it's the same thing every time. The rare time he shoots going right is on fast breaks.

Yeah passing hands down Lebron is better than kobe. But rebounding, fast break abilities and shot blocking, most of these really depends on physical gifts. As for 1v1 defense you could argue who is better. Kobe was better at guarding quicker and faster players but Lebron can switch over and guard BIGs. As for making teammates better i don't know about it. Lebron makes teammates that can shoot better because of the double teams he gets. Shooters would love to play with lebron. but can also take players out of their games because he needs the ball in his hands to make those plays. He didn't make D. wade or bosh better. Bosh turned into a 3 point shooter player with lebron because he needs that lane open for lebrons drives.

Despite a GSW victory is not exactly good for us, my despise for indiana + the way the crowd cheers for their team is making me root badly for a GSW win.

My point is you could do 1, 2 or 3 things really well and still be dominate. Shaq, wilt. Jabaar along with their physical gifts...players like David Lee and Luis Scola are skilled low post players but lack the physical advantages to be really good.
Don't tell me Dwight Howard is more skilled that Lee or Scola, but Dwight is still better and way more dominate.

First off, the word you are looking for is "dominant".

Second, David Lee is the same size as LeBron. Why isn't he as good?

Lance losing control and being dumb. Don't know why he's mad at Curry.

Stephenson is such a dumbass punk. No matter how well he is playing now, he is guaranteed to implode in a crucial playoff game. Can't wait.

I can't believe GS didn't trade for Kyle Lowry when they had a chance. I don't know who they would be giving up but to turn down the trade based on concerns of him fitting in with the locker room is crazy. If Curry gets in foul trouble or gets injured this team will start to struggle again.

It cracks me up. GS has so many holes in their gimmick offense and yet the one trade they make is for another chucking guard.

If you remember what he did to the Rockets at the end of the 2011/12 season, you wouldn't say it's crazy at all. He has a well-deserved rep.
