I want rondo, if this team can keep jones and dmo. Starting five Rondo Harden Parsons Jones Howard Bench Bev Garcia Caspi Dmo The bench isn't the best but with rondo playing with bev that 2nd unit should get plenty of open looks and dmo to me has the ability to be an option as a 10-15 min back up center. He runs the floor well and is Really big if he can keep his hands up on defense he can really be an asset on the 2nd unit. Adding rondo makes this team tough and gives us credibility. Teams know rondo is locked and has his team ready every night. I think he would bring that attitude we're missing while also getting the best out of the team every night. It's a perfect fit for rondo because all the players are athletic and very versatile which should really open things up on offense. I'm all on board if we can make this trade happen for asik and Lin.

No way I would throw in a 1st round pick for Rondo. Asik and Lin should be enough. I am not 100% sold on Rondo but it would be interesting to see how he would fit with this team.
I can't see Boston taking on both Asik and Lin, given their combined salaries next year. Then again, Boston can flip Lin and up to 3 million bucks and draft picks for a player they really want. Or Asik, for that matter.
The Rondo rumors today are based on a Yahoo contributor network blogger who was just making things up. There is absolutely no truth to the rumor at all. Rondo probably isn't even on the radar at all because he's a terrible fit for the Rockets.
That is what the Rockets need, some edge and aggressiveness. Right now we only have young nice guys, we need to be mean especially come playoff time.
Nope, we need someone to rid ourselves of isolation basketball. That is what Rondo will bring. He can manage tempo as good as any PG, especially in the playoffs. He can get EVERYONE involved, and he won't let us settle for crap 3s. Our perimeter defense, rebounding and overall intelligence and wisdom will seemingly skyrocket with him on the floor.
The good news if we got Rondo is that we could have really funny FT contests between Howard and Rondo....maybe we could put random fans up against them just for comedy sake.
Folks.. Rondo would be a great fit here. He has everything we need. He has improved his jumper, he hustles on D, and is one of the best playmakers in the league.
My only problem with Rondo is that he is getting quite injury prone. But hey, I take him over Bev or Lin every single day and twice on Sunday.
