I won't be upset no matter what happens, I was just pointing out that the Texans are in a weak division and have a pretty easy schedule. They could easily make the playoffs next year.

Not saying I'm expecting it though.

Colts are far and away favs in the division, maybe wildcard.

Sure, they are "far and away" the favorite next year, just like the Texans were "far and away" the favorite last year....how did that work out? The Colts are a fundamentally flawed team, I don't think it would take a lot for the Texans to surpass them again.

This team just won two games this whole season and you're calling the Colts flawed?

Okay, but my point is that the overwhelming majority of people thought that the Texans would be better than the Colts and it didn't matter. The Colts have a weak defense, very little running game, and their QB turns the ball over WAY too many times. They aren't world beaters. In fact, the Texans still have more talent on their team than the Colts have on theirs when everyone's healthy.

Yeah. The Texans record has nothing to do with how the Colts roster is comprised. The Texans could win 16 game or 0 games and it wouldn't change the Colts roster.

    I agree.

This is the NFL, Parity is rampant every year. You can't say a team won't make the playoffs with a straight face because literally anything could happen. It's why people love it and have hope every single year that their team will do something special.

I don't think the Colts are that great, they aren't the Manning led Colts...they had to win A LOT of games coming from behind. That is a trend that can't continue if they expect to be a dynasty team like the Pats or Ravens that are making the playoffs near every year.

With that said, no way do you go into the season with the intention to tank in the NFL. Not a single team does that. No way should the Texans do that.

I'll be glad to pair Clowney up with Watt.

Just like Bill O'Brien was going to use us to leverage a better deal elsewhere, right?

The NFL is rife with parity and teams go from good to bad and vice versa with regularity, Houston is no exception.

I wouldn't count on it with this roster. Too many players past their prime and with health issues, not enough depth or track record of drafting good depth with this GM. The o-line is outright disgusting.

Btw, were you there with Bob and Bill? What kind of cologne does he wear?

That's an overly negative view. The Texans have plenty of talent in their prime, but it makes sense for fans to think the world is coming to an end after a poor season.

When it comes to O line, we have a great LT, a great C, and an up and coming RG. The only real holes are at LG and RT and we have 2 RT prospects that were injured last year that we'll get to see and Ben Jones should pretty much take over LG so the situation isn't quite as bad as you were suggesting.

Not as embarrassing as Donny drinking Kubiak Kool-aid for 2 straight years.

I'm negotiate because I see the obvious flaws. I saw them with Kubiak and Schuab long before this turd of a season and was called a troll for not drinking up.
