Just curious but does anyone know if our guys have a good amount of work ethic? Garcia and Casspi have been in a huge shooting slump lately. Do they stay after practice for a bit and work on their shots? Because if these guys, not just Garcia and Casspi, dont put in the work and time to better themselves and figure out what's wrong with their game how do they expect to get better? It just seems as though our "shooters" which is everyone besides Howard, haven't been able to heat up from outside or atleast give us a consistent option.

I'm sure Garcia and Casspi work hard but some people just don't have it, thy are what they are. These guys are not far off from their Careers numbers so from their view they aren't playing that bad. They are just not meant for our system, if your going to play read and react you need guys who can put it on the floor and knock down contested three's. Garcia is getting older and Casspi has never been on a real NBA team, he's been given a chance to show what he can do and he might get a little better since he is so young, but my guess is that he is what we see streaky.

They're in the NBA, you don't exactly get to that level by sitting on your ass.

Casspi is worst decision maker on our team. The only he does - hits three-pointer.......oh wait, he's 19/64 (29.7%) from behind the arc since december. Last second of last game, shot three-pointer instead of making extra-pass to Covington who was wide-open. Also two open position for Donuts in the post - ignores him.

The point is - Casspi has no work-ethic. Does not improve, he's garbage as I thought.

Unbelievable, fans like you sickens me.

These guys put everything on the line.

But when things don't work out for them, fans like you try to stir things and put them down.

Must be easy for you, since all you have to do is sit down and type while they work their butts off.

To answer your question, Jeremy Lin himself said that Casspi is one of the hardest worker in the team.

Why so much hate for Cassipi. He aye hard out there. Not smart, but definitely hard. Harder than Delfino did.

I could practice all day on dunking a basketball, but it's never going to happen. Does that mean I have no work ethic?

Do not ever compare Delfino to Casspi...Casspi is straight garbage....and where did you see that Delfino didn't try hard? He played on a broken foot.

Exactly. I will never understand where the idea comes from that these dudes just head out on the court and perform without putting in work. At the same time I'm sure there are players who put up as many shots a day as Durant, Curry, etc that will never be able to shoot like them

Comparing Omri Casspi to Carlos Delfino will not strengthen your point of view.

Last year, who were our 3pt specialists?

Delfino, and who else? I guess Garcia, then Lin and Harden. we don't have delfino anymore. Garcia isn't hitting anything, and Casspi is in a slump as well. Lin and Harden haven't been hitting theirs either and same with Parsons. lol pretty ****ty, we should try to mix our game up a bit.

So im supposed to kiss their ass because they're in the NBA? Obviously not everyone in the NBA works their asses off all the time. Some work alot harder than others. My question is to what degree of work ethic do our players have.

I don't know how you can really gauge a thing like that. The only evidence you as a fan can get is in the results.. But that doesnt justify that the person isnt working hard.

ie: a person studies for 3 weeks for a final exam but still gets the same grade he got on a previous test. The results show that the assume amount of work to get the same great before is the same amount they put in for this test.

The only way to judge is by someone vouching for them. In which the players have all said they spend a lot of time together. Casspi also said Parson & Lin are the closest to him on the team. So you can probably imagine for that to be the case, they have to spend time with each other. You can see from Lin/ Parson twitter that they practice and put in the work. Therefore on can also assume that may be the case.
The final way to know is to be there with them - which is hard for a fan. So you got to just assume they are proffessional.

Funny how people are so desperate to find explanations for a slump by speculating about negative personal traits.

Missing shots? They must be lazy!
Lose a close game? They are soft and not clutch!

Casspi and Garcia are the same people as they were when they were shooting well. A slump is just the result of normal fluctuation of shooting for a couple of guys who are not really elite shooters during their careers.

Not desperate for an explanation. Just curious to how much work our guys put in beyond practice? Who works the hardest? Etc. Not like i can see these guys everyday
