OKC out: Sefolosha, PJ3, '14 2nd /// OKC in: E.Turner PHI out: Hawes, Turner /// PHI in: Asik, PJ3, D-Mo, '14 HOU 2nd, '14 OKC 2nd HOU out: Asik, D-Mo, '14 2nd /// HOU in: Hawes, Sefolosha - OKC gets another playmaker who can also defend. Gets a dynamic guard rotation of Westbrook/Turner/Jackson/Lamb. - PHI tanks, gets their target Asik, and gets two developmental young bigs + two picks. - We get a legit backup C and a perimeter defender that we desperately need. We can run a tight 9-man rotation of Dwight/Jones/Parsons/Harden/Bev with Lin/Hawes/Sefolosha/Casspi off the bench, with Smith, Brooks and Garcia ready to go in case of injury or matchup.
Just a dream in my head. We trade Howard for Love, and Corey Brewer. Asik magically gets better Asik Love Parson Harden Bev Bench: Lin,Jones,Dmo,Casspi,Garcia That team would be sooooooo much better than it is now.
Enough with the Love fantasies. We need a point guard upgrade, a guy on a one or two year deal, preferably in their prime with playoff experience. Next, we need a backup for Dwight, on a one or two year deal, who won't complain about being a backup.
Here is a dream... Rockets: Howard and Lin for Love and JJ Barea Twolves: Love, Pekovic and Barea for Howard, Young and Lin 76ers: Young for Pekovic Rockets Asik, Love, Parsons, Harden, Barea Twolves Howard, Young, Brewer, Martin, Lin 76ers Pecovik, Hawes, Turner, Worten, MCW
The Suns trade their 28+ year olds for 25 year olds/younger core to support Bledsoe & Len. Bledsoe, Smith Lin, Goodwin Young, Green Morris, Morris Plumlee, Len
There is still time for them to tank for the loaded 2014 draft. The Suns GM supposedly keeping that option alive, knows their current success doesn't fit/ is short-lived with the Bledsoe/Len future.
Maybe some kind of trade scenario to land Avery Bradley. He's coming into his own a bit more offensively this season and is probably the best defensive point guard in the league. We need to improve that perimeter defense. That frees us up to move Lin if we want to have more Parsons re-signing room, and then bring Bev's energy off the bench when he's healthy. Just a base idea: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=lc9t2cn
Why would Phoenix do this? lol. Lin as much as I like him is not an upgrade to dragic, their only problem this year is bledsoe being injured otherwise they would be 5th or 6th spot. They are one star away from being a 3rd or 4th seed.
The Suns have 4 first round picks (3 protected) in the upcoming draft & the expiring $14 million contract of Emeka Okafor so they may try to make a trade to solidify a spot in the playoffs or ideally, for them, to move up. Suns own: 2014 first round draft pick from Minnesota Minnesota's 1st round pick to Phoenix protected for selections 1-13 in 2014, 1-12 in 2015 or 1-12 in 2016; if Minnesota has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Phoenix by 2016, then Minnesota will instead convey its 2016 2nd round pick and 2017 2nd round pick to Phoenix [Minnesota-New Orleans-Phoenix, 7/27/2012] 2014 first round draft pick from Washington Washington's 1st round pick to Phoenix protected for selections 1-12 in 2014, 1-10 in 2015, 1-10 in 2016, 1-10 in 2017, 1-10 in 2018 or 1-10 in 2019 or unprotected in 2020 [Phoenix-Washington, 10/25/2013] 2014 first round draft pick from Indiana Indiana's 1st round pick to Phoenix protected for selections 1-14 in 2014, 1-14 in 2015, 1-14 in 2016, 1-14 in 2017, 1-14 in 2018 or 1-14 in 2019 or unprotected in 2020 [Indiana-Phoenix, 7/28/2013] 2015 first round draft pick from L.A. Lakers L.A. Lakers' 1st round pick to Phoenix protected for selections 1-5 in 2015, 1-3 in 2016 or 1-3 in 2017 or unprotected in 2018 [L.A. Lakers-Phoenix, 7/11/2012]
I really think the T-Wolves need to hurry up & fire Coach Adelman if they want to have any chance to resign Love because it's almost like they are sending a message that losing is acceptable to them.
