This last quote is what makes it real. It's exactly what I did. I had no opinion on Bridgewater going in. Actually I had a slight negative opinion thinking he was another athletic running QB. I watched Manziel and Mariota before I even looked at Bridgewater. And after watched Derek Carr, Bortles, TBoyd, Mettenberg and Jimmy Garapolo. I even watched old footage of Andrew Luck and Cam Newton as well as Jameis Winston just to get a perspective.

I had an open mind and the more I watched the more I was impressed. This guy watched 3 games but I watched every game out there including 3 high school games. Everything I watched made me thing this kid is about as sure a bet as you can get to succeed.

This Fennell guy looked at just a little footage and came away impressed. And all 3 of those games were some of the ones people on here were complaining he sucked in. Unlike stupid so called scouts who report Bridgewater is not 1st round material but don't give you one reason why. You have to watch the games and you have to look at what he does and then develop an opinion on that.

You can't just say he is not good because the competition sucks or he has little hands or he is skinny. That's just stupid. You have to watch the games and not just pretend to watch them and say I saw 2 games and he looked bad. No he didn't reemi and it makes you look stupid to say that he did.

Either you didn't watch the games and you just dislike Bridgewater because he is not like you, you're a troll or you are an idiot and have no clue how to evaluate a QB. It's not personal, I have been open minded to the posters on here, hoping to learn something about Bridgewater. But almost all the negative post are just BS dribble with no substance.

I watched a lot of video when I first created this thread but I have since watched a lot more and nothing has veered my opinion. Bridgewater is a very real, legitimate 1st round overall pick. And since we have theat pick and we are in need of a QB I couldn't be happier.

If someone prefers Manziel because he is home grown I get that. I like Manziel too but if you are really open and truly watch video, a lot, then patterns appear and consistencies appear for all the guys. It's why I can say Bridgewater has the best shot to succeed but Manziel could too and to a lesser degree Bortles and maybe even Mtlenberg oh and this kid Garrapolo is not bad. But in my open mind to only wanting the best QB for the Texans.

Compare the Manziel Alabama game vs. the Bridgewater UH game.

That's my thought. I know very little about OBrien but he in the bit I know he seems like a smart guy. I just can't see him not seeing what these other guys see, what I see. If you watch video he just pops out. And not one play here and one play there it's a consistent pattern of smart decisions and cool pocket presence and accurate throws. Just like one of those guys said, " even his misses look good", because he is make the right choices with the right touch.

I did Manziel looked good no doubt but he also made some bad decisions. The interception in the endzone on the left when Evans was open on the right and the wild run all over the field with the miracle throw to evans was just that, a miracle throw. Evans jumped up in the pack and grabbed it but it was a hail mary that took a lot of luck. Still Manziel is impressive and anyone who writes him off in the next level because he is not a pocket passer is not being smart. You have to consider him. I think he will succeed. I just think he has to learn not to depend on his speed just because he has it.

Level of competition in college doesn't mean jack for translating to the pros. Please bring up some other arguments against TB because there are a few. Size, accuracy on the deep ball, and tendency to rely too much on the short pass. There have been lots of great big college QB's that busted in the NFL and have been plenty of small QB's that have made it. It's just a bad argument that gets brought up by college football fans.

I started watching his tape after this season with no prior feelings about him and I think what you've noticed is undeniable.

I really feel like if they are going QB they will pick Teddy.. they will be under pressure to draft Manziel, but at the end of the day Teddy willbe the pick

So let me see if I understand; a player drafted in later round "pans" out, different player drafted in early rounds doesn't, so guy drafted in later rounds was rated higher than guy drafted in early rounds.....ok, I think I got it ;)

Compare Bridgewater Florida game to Manziel LSU game. WTF is this? People have bad games, and it means absolutely nothing.

Exactly, stupid heresay dribble about something he knows nothing about. Skip Bayless stood next to him and said he was 6'3". I saw him next Devante parker who is listed at 6'3" and TB looked taller. It's no different than the same stupid critics who said he has small hands because he wears gloves. Who cares what size his hands are. He throws a perfect spiral, he never fumbles, even with a broken wrist when he could only use his right hand with no support from his left in the shotgun he never even once bobbled the ball.

For the record his coach says quite the contrary he has large hands. And long arms to go with his 6'3" frame. As for his 195 weight, I guarantee you he is not. Any non moron can look at his upper body and see he is not 195 on a 6'3" frame. I would be very surprised if he comes in anything less than 215 at the combines. Just a lot of stupid dribble from people who are too lazy to do some real research so they can do some real reporting.

I know the Texans need a QB bad, but I was a Clowney guy. About 3 weeks before we locked up the
#1 pick I started doing my research and watching games of Bridgewater. Honestly before watching I wasn't a fan and had no good reason other than I wanted clowney. From then to now...the Kid isn't flashy. He's not dynamic or some freak athlete......Just a got d@mn good QB that will translate to the pros very well (IMO). His footwork....his reads....progressions....his feel in the pocket. The kid has zip on the ball and if need be can move to pick up yards with his legs. I'm totally impressed and not surprised that he doesn't have the hype machine behind him. Manziel has all the hype and rightfully so....we all have watched Johnny play 10+ Great (not good) games and look like Brett Favre at times out there. I get it. He is dynamic and I'm not a Aggie fan at all. Will his game translate to the pros....I think so, as long as he doesn't get trucked by haloti ngata and get his knee ripped off. (note...He hit RGIII so hard it torn his ACL....without hitting his knee) Where Bridgewater kinda reminds me of Aaron Rogers somewhat. All the gifts and could have been the 1st pick, but ended up dropping in the draft. This is just my opinion, but that's who Teddy reminds me of. The last bowl game kinda locked it up for me....I'm on board now and it was because I did my own research by watching games...not highlights.
