All I know is that I sure miss Pat Beverly. I don't know that he fixes last night but he gives the team an identity when he's out on the floor. I was (and still?!>!) bothered by this loss. I'd love to dump the Lin experiment in exchange for Rondo. PALUESE CALVARY MORREEY.
This was bloody awful, as everybody has pointed out. I hope somehow this team gets it's head out of it's ass and sweeps the ****ing Thunder in the playoffs. ****ing hate the Thunder
Would those be the fans of the same Spurs team we beat twice....in San Antonio?! Tell them to zip it.
I don't expect but rather want to see changes coming from the top. The players, as have been hidden by the words "they" or "we," are just executors of some one's decisions, strategies or philosophy etc. You are right. Nothing much will change from bottom up.
25-15 is lovely, but the Thunder just constructed a blue print to shutting us out before our very eyes. And it is now on video for God and everybody to see. Nowm, hence forth, and forever.
Im not listening to 610 nor 790 today. Nor will I watch sports center or any other sports station today. FU** that bs. I can't believe we lost that game like that CF. Wow
Wow! This news is everywhere. I just looked at the yahoo sports story and Chandlers video where he is completely oblivious to points scored in the second half. How does a coach not make the necessary changes to make sure this doesn't happen? I hate to dwell on this too much, but a historic loss deserves some concern.
Somebody should collect all the headlines from all main media and post them in players' locker room. Or maybe just tweet them the links come to think of it. If that doesn't light a fire under their collective bottoms, I don't know what will. And tweet McHale "You Suck!" while we're at it.
The blueprint was simple enough. Run a 2-3 zone, clog the middle and close out and contest 3s. That was the game plan last night and it confused the hell out of our coach-less players.
One of the best halves of the season (1st). The very worst half of the season (2nd(. Did something happen in the locker room at halftime? Never seen this team, or any team for that matter have such a disparity in play from one half to the next. Ironically, if you switched the halves, the take would have been how we almost came back from the worst start of the season to almost win against OKC.
According to ESPN, Scotty Brooks showed his team during halftime footage of every single 3-pointer the Rockets made in order to get them to adjust their defense in the 2nd half. The Thunder held the Rockets to 0-14 from behind the arc. Coincidence? Yeah, I didn't think so either. Meanwhile, I'm willing to bet good money McFail didn't do anything to prepare his team during halftime(and no, telling them "good job" and "keep it up" does not count). Even worse, he made no adjustments during the 2nd half. If the 3-pointers aren't falling, there are other ways to put the ball in the basket. Apparently that never dawned on the Rockets.
LOL! I was just about to post the Rox looked like world beaters in the first half and the Washington Generals in the second half. Only this year's Rox can pull off a feat like last night, LMBO! Rox deserve all the embarrassment and criticism they are getting both locally and nationally.
Hope the rockets remember this game for the rest of the season and motivates them to work hard each game.
Down by 17 to a team that had lost 6 in a row and I one of the worst teams in the league. We all remember
