If he would go back to using his strength in the post he would have a chance. His face up game is predictable

Thankfully, efficient, pass-first point guards are available and there is still a nice market for centers and players that bring in revenue which isn't all related to their abilities as players.

It would be insanity to stand pat right now. Nothing was the Same after Patrick went down, but brighter waters are ahead.

I like this team. We're in a bit of a crash and burn right now, but like after any storm, the sun comes out and the birds return.

Coaching-wise, the 1st half was EXACTLY like the 2nd. The only difference is making shots. Rockets ran little-to-no plays in either half.

Add careless turnovers, OKC finally making a few 3's, and that's that.

DMo has looked good two games in a row. That's definitely the silver lining in this game, and for me, the most important story. B2B losses are never shocking, even with massive colllapses.

I see you're new here. I want Lowry back as much as anyone but he's not coming if McHale is here.

WUT? The Rockets are 9-5 after he got injured (including the game where he got injured). That's a 64% winning percentage. The rocets are currently 25-15, that is a 64% winning percentage. Where do you come up with this? Bev definitely helps this team, as would Asik. The team also isn't drastically effected by his loss, like the Thunder and Westbrook's injury. Come on now.

We were good on B2B, I think we were 7-2 at one point. But a 3rd game from a B2B after a game then day off is still probably heavier than B2B, day off then 3rd in 4.

Rockets are what? 2-4 in national games? 2-6?

Teams are playing the Rockets like they are back-to-back defending champs or something this season. I understand why teams fight hard when they play the actual defending champs, but at this point in the season with our record it's like teams believe we are favorites or something and beating us proves something.

    Also add:
Dwight got into early foul trouble again
Harden and Lin stopped attacking the rim
DMo was the only effective bench player

Where can I track this stat?

    I am leaning towards 2-7.

It's tough. They played 5 times in 7 days. I expected a loss today.

I like Brooks but you have to know that with him, you are only going to get scoring. He doesn't really play PG when he is in the game (i.e.- looking to help others). He is a shoot first guard and unfortunately, when he isn't on, then he isn't helping much. That's why I don't know why McHale stuck with him for so long in the second half- when we badly needed more playmaking. Oh wait... I know why... it's McHale...

Also, Jackson was making it look like Brooks was stuck in mud. It wasn't even a challenge.

We beat the Blazers (I think that the first one was ESPN), Bulls, Kinicks, and Spurs on national TV. The Bulls was without Rose.

I can't remember how many losses except for the Blazers, Lakers, Thunder, Clippers? and who else?

In the big picture I agree. We are tired and our starters have been run into the ground. But when you have a huge lead like we did and the guys only needed to play a decent half of basketball to secure the win and we couldn't even do that... that's unacceptable.

Several of Dwights fouls were from him overreacting to OKC big men getting into his head. He needs to grow up and realize it's just a game.

During most of the game, it seemed every Rocket player was afraid of Ibaka blocking the rim. Jones wasn't effective in drawing him out of the paint.

Blazers win wasn't on ESPN. We got blown out by the Pacers on national TV. Blazers, Pacers, Clippers, Lakers, Thunders x 2. We beat the Warriors on national TV.

I believe that McHale made the wrong in game adjustments (Brooks is the biggest issue I have today with his substitutions, but I also didn't like Parsons getting 43 mins, after getting 45 last night). Even if he did make better adjustments, they still might have lost. 5 games in 7 days, let that really sink in.

You're right. Lin has outperformed Bev as the starting pg. I will be glad when Bev gets back the Rockets can use him to back up Lin.

I think the main problem with this team is the coaching.
