With how shallow the talent pool is for big men, he should be. Shaq and Barkley did it against much stiffer competition.

Asik has an opportunity here to be our savior, or at least our big improver, if he'd just get on board.

2 games playing against 2 teams that's mediocre at best.

Come on, DD. You know offense is a momentum thing. Once Jackson hit that BS three from 30 feet (off glass) to go up 8, the Rockets opened up a big bag of quit. Combination of frustration and second night of a back-to-back weariness.

If the Rockets had held within striking distance for a couple extra minutes, there's a lot of things that may have played out differently. As ugly as it was, both the 3rd and 4th quarters were fairly competitive until the minutes without Dwight.

He already knows we lost this game and must have for awhile. See the disappointment? He knows what it takes for a team to be a winner No one on our team has won anything that matters, no championships at all. McHale knows what it takes to have a championship roster, he knows the rockets right now don't have it.

I've only seen about 3 Rockets games prior to tonight due to the comcast BS. I see I'm not missing much after watching this game.

Howard is good to be a 17-19 million per year player but he is not worth 22+ million, not within a tight salary cap.
Like Howard Pau Gasol aint worth 19-20 million, 13-15 mill at best.

Building around means throwing money at those guys.
OKC did a great thing and had luck with Durant, Ibaka on rookie contracts first.

McHale isn't going to get fired. He doesn't have a full deck to play with and Morey knows the bench is ****.

I do miss having a player like Lowry who had no problem creating threes late in the game when the defense tightens up. Harden relies too much on the foul. We need someone like Korver for this offense who can create threes, catch and shoot off the screen, and spot up.

I say we try to sign Lowry in the off-season if we can get an expiring for Asik. He would be worth every penny.

    fixed. put the beer down....

We need some trades ASAP. Rockets have already said though they are keeping Lin and Asik

LOL keep dreaming. You think Lowry is dumb enough to play under McHale again? Why do you think he left in the first place?

I disagree and don't share your pessimism.

The only thing that concerns me about Howard is his age, I wish he were a couple years younger. But he is certainly a #1 or #2 on a championship team.

We will crash and burn in the playoffs if we don't have more than two effective big men and don't have any bench at all. I am hopeful that Morey will address these problems.

We have a nice little 3-5 year window of contention, we are in pretty good shape for a few years.

Yep. Nothing will happen until the offseason. Until then its just gonna be more of this bipolar team.

Harden was that ignite a fire player last year and some points this year too. I don't think our players take Howard seriously. We see him scream and tell the others what needs to be done, yet the players often ignore and do the same mistakes. He should grow a mean bone.

Dwight - "Just gotta stay patient, gotta stay positive."

I wish Dwight would angry it's like he is ok with it. I feel we wont see him angry until he is 2 years away from the Laker crap.
