I have a pair of white Skully Candy Aviators, just like Rockets hero James Harden <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/hZQLi2dbd9Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Spoiler
Dre:"Let's mark up the price on these headphones, We're going to make a ton of money Bron!" Rocket fan:"From the money I saved from not buying BEATS, I support you James plus I had extra money to buy this video game"
Oh no! linsanity! I can hear Jeremy! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/GFCDdEzC42U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Bose = Buy Other Stereo Equipment Overpriced junk. So is Beats by Dre. If you're going to spend $100 to $200 on headphones, go with a pair of high end Sennheiser or Audio-Technica cans. Those brands are what the pros actually use in the recording studio so you will be listening to your music the way it was meant to be heard.
any audiophile knows that skull candy/beats headphones are overpriced and don't perform that well. skullcandy/beats are like the bose of the home theater world. pretty much trash. go etymotics. can't go wrong with a company that was in the hearing aid industry.
Someone mentioned the audio technicas. Do they offer wireless headsets with and without a built in mic?
Bose unfairly gets a bad rap. Yeah, sure, it's not the most faithful reproduction. It's not trying to be. That's not the point of bose. The point of bose is to use audio tricks to create the impression that the sound is coming from some other place than a vibrating surface an inch from your ear. To create the impression of depth, of distance and direction, of live entertainment.
I did some research before I bought the Aviators, they got good reviews, plus DTS used them at the booth at CES. http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/skullcandy-roc-nation-aviator
2 reasons: 1: you listen very closely to the music, so the small differences in sound matter to you. 2: You like to think that you listen very closely to the music, so the small differences in sound mater to you.
don't forget Denon headphones.. at least equal to AT in my opinion (already comparing them).. and yeah, that double B, Bose and Beats, is overpriced..
