    This is why you do whatever you have to in order to have a player like Harden. He took over and couldn't be stopped. Unreal! The game may have been ugly, but the finish by Harden was beautiful.

    I think what opened this up is the Harden-Lin pick and roll a few seconds before the start of this gif.

    It was not a pick and roll. Harden set a pick for Lin and the Pelicans switched on defense. Lin then passed the ball to Harden because of the mismatch but he didn't roll to the basket.

    You are both wrong. Lin fans are what made that happen. Without them, basketball would not even exist.

    Which site did you use ?

    NBA.COM gives me Harden's 4th quarter stats only , i can't find for all the players as a ranking.

    They run that play all of the time. PG sets a screen for Harden to try and get the mismatch.

    If the opponent does not switch then there is an open 3 or lane to the basket for the roll man or the handler.
