Same thing was said about Montana, Brees, Brady, Manning, arguably even Rodgers Ryan, Romo, pretty much most of the top 10 qbs in the league. Jay cutler, Stafford???? Both struggling to maintain consistency Cam, Kaep, RG3 are still neophytes as NFL passers (Though Cam as improved considerably) Id rather go with what is assured rather than what is unknown. Especially when Manziel does not possess the elite physical traits that Cam, Kaep and RG3 have
This ^, its the ultimate way to demonstrate how capable of a passer you are, even more so than pro days.
5 posts in the last 25 minutes. YEP WELCOME BACK SKYRIM!!!! ....oh and you played the game? On what, Nintendo? Was your career cut short by "Nintendo thumb"? *snort* so obvious, brah.
Elite physical tools, RGIII talk to me when he is no longer allowed to park in the handicap spot, brah
Guys who are considered top QB prospects usually don't throw at the combine. That's what the pro day is for.*The combine for them is more about getting measured and weighed and their 40 times.
The reason why top qb prospects don't throw at the combine is because they would rather throw to guys they are familiar with. If you can throw to strangers and look elite doing it, I consider that better than an elite pro day performance. I understand the premise though
