Chandler Parsons’ pump fake is quietly one of the most dangerous weapons in the League

His pump fakes were excellent though. It really fake people off.

 

Parsons improved his speed after the fake.

In the 2nd to last video though, he faked a wide open corner three and settled for a 18-ft two. That's a huge no-no. TAKE THE OPEN THREE ALWAYS

A lot of people said he should stop because he did it so much, but they failed to realize it kept working on defenders. I've always said he needs to draw the foul more though. Start leaning in to them, Chandler.

You didn’t ask but I’ll make a couple of suggestions for your video. You want something loud and powerful with driving bass and drum lines, definitely not a ballad or anything with a catchy hook or strong melody because you want our attention focused on Parsons, not the music. I don’t know the type music you’re into so I tried to pick songs from different genres. The songs are ranked according to best fit.

#1: New Noise by Refused (Hard Rock/Metal Rap/Screamo). The song goes hard from start to finish. Best lyric: “We lack the motion to move to the new beat”, meaning that we need something new in our lives; in this case The Parsons Fake.
#2: Fakin The Funk by Main Source (Old School Rap). You’ve probably heard it already. It’s from the movie, White Men Can’t Jump, and is all about those sick basketball moves, including the Fake. It’s old school but worked for the movie and should work for what you want to do with the Parsons Fake too…..and Parsons is White.
3. Love The Way You Lie by Eminem and Rihanna (Contemporary Pop/Rap). This song is about a relationship gone wrong but it fits the theme (Faking, Lies, Parsons Fake), but, it is very melodic with a memorable hook so could deflect attention away from your video onto the song itself. But it is a perfect fit!
