Yup. So all we can do is commend Lowry for the awesome play and wish Lowry well, except when he plays against us. :grin:
Still my favorite PG in the league...but he got us Harden so in hindsight, Morey definitely made the right move.
Lin might turn out to be a better player somewhere else eventually, but Lowry would def fit better than Lin.
Who else still remembers him from the Rockets/Grizzlies preseason game like 7 years ago when we went into double OT i believe and Lowry beat us with tough layup at the buzzer? I knew he would be a decent PG in the league but hes much better then I expected.
Beast. He's balling like a top15 player as of late. Aaaand his team is winning. They beat OKC (with Westbrook) at OKC, Dallas at Dallas, Indiana at home. Raptors are 13-5 since the Gay trade. Mostly because of Lowry.
AAAnd those 5 losses were: 2 losses agains Spurs 1 loss against Miami 1 loss against Indiana 1 buzzer-beater loss against Charlotte
Morey's master plan was teaming up Dwight Howard with Chris Paul, and it probably would've worked if the NBA doesn't stupidly allow for teams to trade for coaches. He didn't want to settle for Dragic and deal with the lack of flexibility with a player option. I don't blame Morey for swinging for the fences. Plus it's not like our current starting PG is a massive drop from Dragic/Lowry. Who knows what Dragic/Lowry's numbers would be in this system with Dwight and Harden, but it's easy to assume that it won't be as high.
