Does not seem like a Moreyball player to me. I think Vecsey is just pulling teams out of his ass on this one. Even if he can at times be instant offense off the bench I have a hard time seeing any of those teams trade for those guys except for maybe the Nets who would trade for Matt Maloney's contract if he was on an NBA roster.
Lack of effort of defense has been a major flaw in Crawford's game. Offensive he has a lot of talent, I see very little reason to believe he would not fit in our offense. He's a very good spot up shooter, understands spacing, he just doesn't get many spot up shots in Boston and is asked to create for himself more off the dribble. Would be much more efficient on a good team.
i want him to backup Harden..he can be an off the bench scorer which we need...but we badly need defense
if rockets get bradley, you can say bye to bev. Bradley is a better defender than bev and a better shooter....
a lot of people are bashing him but he's quietly having a good year in Boston. His court vision and passing are underrated imo. Yeah he has a tendency to chuck but he's a good player to have off the bench if he continues to play like this. I personally want him but i'm not sure if our coaching staff can reign him in. The only reason hes shooting such a low % of the field is because of his horrible shot selection
this year his @ 41% FG... 31% 3PT FG (Career 40% FG and 30% 3pt fg) that does not sound like a very good spot up shooter...
would you trade Lin for bradley+filler? I don't think bev's defense is really that much better than Lin's if at all, but bradley is a true elite perimeter defender and he's more consistent on offense than bev...
