In highschool Jennings was a passer. I remember him in the McDonalds All American game he said he wanted to go for the assist record. Then graduated and started chucking, which I think was because he was inserted into the #1 scorer role. Especially after that 55 point game.
I agree, plus he had nothing to play for in the Milwaukee team, and no one would hold him accountable for anything. In Detroit though he has become a very good passer, guess a change of scenario was what he needed.
