Did Reagan ever own up to his administration's failures when the barracks was bombed in Beirut? Of course not, that was nothing more than a regrettable security incident, albeit a worse one where more than 200 "American heroes" died.

Clinton did say that the State Department would work to correct the security failures, but given that it is highly unlikely that she knew of the security problems before the uprising in Benghazi, her taking FURTHER responsibility (over that which she has taken, but you have chosen not to acknowledge) would be silly.

The debt/GDP ratio has fallen dramatically since Obama took office. We might even be able to balance the budget were it not for the intransigence of the GOP who refuse to even consider revenue increases in their budget talks.
