I know this is all talk and we have no influence on the decision, but if we draft manziel it will set the franchise back at least 5 years.

I think there's some pressure to draft either Manziel or Teddy.. Can you imagine if we pass on one of them, and give a choice to the Jags between them.. You have Andrew Luck, + either Manziel/Teddy to the Jaguars and than the Titans trade up and get the one left over.. And were stuck with no QB... :(

Based on all the information I have gathered, I think I grew an inch or two over night...Ive always wanted to be 6'0" or taller and my dreams finally came through.

It could, or we might be a playoff team next year. Who knows?

Manziel, Bridgewater, Bortles or Clowney? They may all be great, or they may all be flops. It's all just a big guessing game. You do your research, you make a guess and then you cross your fingers and hope you made the right decision.

Johnny Football doesn't seem like the kind of guy the Texans would pick, but I hope they pick Manziel because I think he has the most entertainment value. I want the Texans to be fun to watch next year, and I'm not convinced Bridgewater or Bortles is a safer or better pick than Manziel. It's a roll of the dice with any of these guys.

Never has one to two inches of height meant so much to a QB or team. :)

Guess you missed it since we are rock bottom right now. The worse we could be set back is one year.

If you make a bad pick at QB, you're probably not looking to replace him for at least 3 years. In those 3 years, you're probably not moving forward very much. Not the way you would if you hit on a QB. So missing on a QB doesn't necessarily "set you back", but you're not moving forward either. You're QB is still hamstringing the franchise.

Bridgewater is my top choice, by far.

But to be honest, I wouldn't mind Manziel. Anyone else, I'd be upset at this point, to be honest. There's just something about Manziel. The swagger. The fact that he's a small town Texas boy. He could light this entire city on fire, and McNair knows that.

The problem is, there's so much he has to change about his game. He's got to watch tons of film of RG3 in order to learn what not to do. He's got to learn to hang in the pocket more. He's got to learn to rely more on his arm and less on his athleticism. He's got to learn something other than a spread offense. He's got to learn not to lob balls up for grabs.

It's asking a lot, but with his personal quarterbacks coach and O'Brien, he very well could. The problem, though, is if he is an O'Brien-type player, and if they can mesh.

Teddy is the safe pick, but Manziel is the boom or bust pick. If he booms, he could very well boom like something this city has not seen before. I'm talking in any sport, too.

If he busts, man will he bust us hard.

Runs his own offense. Lives/breathes football. Showed improvement every year. Statistically, very accurate and had a good 3rd and long conversion rate.

It's easy to see that he is the safest QB prospect, and if you deny that then you are probably doing so for a reaction.

How can you say that Johnny isn't dedicated to football when he spent last offseason with a QB guru that he hired with his own money to work on refining his game?
