Are we still trying to trade Omer?

Trade deadline is within a month. Is it set that Omer is going to stay with Rockets all season?

    The swelling held him hostage.

Yes, the Rockets would like to trade Asik. At this time no other team will give us something that Morey thinks is fair. End of story.

Are we still pretending he isn't playing due to a bruised thigh? That would be one hell of a contusion.

I'm wondering if there's some specific trade that will go down at a specific time and maybe Morey finds it in the best interest not to damage the goods.

Note how no one was making a big deal of Omer's so-called injury. The self-imposed deadline passed; the team left Toyota Center to go on the rosd, and Omer goes...in the opposite direction.

    All very piss-poorly handled.

He is healthy. He has just quit on the team but the Rockets are trying their hardest to make it not seem that way.

Like the Rockets are gonna publicly admit the guy won't play and even worse that the organization seems to be ok with it?

Honest question, why is Feigen so inclined to defending Asik?

Pretty sure he's been asked by the organization to do so. As opposed to calling it like it is and creating a situation.

Crazy Idea....Trade Asik for AK47? Brooklyn needs a center and we could use a legit back up for Parsons. Veteran too.

Does Houston Rockets has physicians? Does this physicians know anything about knee injury? If answer is yes, why are you discussing about his injury is fake or not? If it was fake, physicians could tell the GM and player could be punished by team. Don't you trust your physicians?

Maybe he's not defending him. Maybe he's telling the truth and knows that the fans who say he's faking are wrong. He wants to set the story straight.

The "hurt" argument for Asik is minimal, just ask Dwight Howard who got paid max.

Asik is smart here. I am sure he will play if this is his CONTRACT year. Since this is NOT his contract year, and he GOT 25 mil in the bag already, and he does have an argument to be a starter instead of being a backup.

I fully expect he will not get hurt financially by not playing. He is enjoying his vacation while being paid handsomely.

He will definitely get hurt financially if he gets injuried by being a backup, so he just removes that risk for himself.

By not playing, he completely gets the 25mil while not taking the risk of getting injuried. It is a pretty good move for him.
