MILWAUKEE – Another day, another media blow-off by Joakim Noah, who has not spoken publicly since the Bulls traded his friend and former teammate, Luol Deng, to Cleveland. It was believed that he would address the media – all of four Chicago-based reporters – after the Bulls’ Friday morning shootaround at the Bradley Center. But Noah told a team official that he would remain mute. It begs the question: Just how angry is Noah? And is his silent act hindering the Bulls in their effort to turn the page on the deal? http://my.chicagotribune.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-78847099/

If we traded Asik for Noah, we couldn't trade him till summer. Can Noah play the 4 spot? If not, then he'll basically be coming here to be the back-up for Dwight. You think he's unhappy now? He'll make Scrooge look like a little kid under a fully presented Christmas tree.
No that's wrong... If can still trade Noah if it was just him which we traded without any other players. You have to wait 30 days to trade a player alone
Come on, guys. Why on Earth would the Bulls trade Noah for Asik and spare parts? That just makes no sense. Rebuilding does not necessarily mean getting worse at every position while maintaining the same salary structure. LOL.
Unless Noah is privately furious about the Bulls moving Deng and has told management that he doesn't want to be there, it's hard to see Chicago making this trade. They have to pay most of the balloon payment in Asik's last season (we can give them $1.4 million, I think, not $3 million), sign him to an extension, and I can't imagine them accepting Brewer as an added incentive. We would have to add one of our young developing talents on a rookie contract, and picks to make them even answer the phone, in my humble opinion, ATW. Someone could knock me over with a feather if the Bulls move Noah. Of course, I fall down easily. ;-)- (you should spoiler that trade image, Jackie!)

I posted in the Luol trade thread about Luol's reaction and Joakim's reaction as well. This is no surprise. Two players are/were the heart and soul of that team and that was Luol and Joakim. They wouldn't have this reaction from Joakim and other players like they would if they traded Boozer or Taj. I can see Joakim bolting ship when the time comes. Dude is sensitive and it's no surprise he took this trade worse than all the other players. He and Luol were great friends but they became even closer after last year's ASG/ASW in Houston.

Actually watching the interview, very heartfelt, was holding back some tears talking about Luol in the beginning. It's too bad there's no one like this on the Rockets, could make a world of difference in morale when the team goes through bad stages. And yes, that's what this team is missing, because unfortunately heart doesn't show up in the statistics, and is a mere "buzzword" around here lol.
