Lol you are too rustled, bro. He was injured in the playoffs and he had a pretty solid season last year for what considered his season.
Pissed? Dragic was going beserk when he got his starting lineup position and clearly outplayed Lowry. Lin never outplayed Bev by that margin to think or feel entitled to the starting position. Regardless, then if Lin is pulling Asik or a Lowry then he deserves to be called out for the pouty cry baby that they were and in Asiks are. Personally I don't think Lin is pulling any antics like you do because I don't think he has that kind of ego. He is just struggling.
I agree with this, honestly. Anybody else can go, and I do mean anybody. I usually get emotional about personnel changes, but I don't care anymore. I want to winnnnnnnnnn, dammit. Bev is just as inconsistent as Lin. 15 Monday, 5 Thursday, 10 pts in a quarter Saturday, 3 next Monday. Same for AB most of the time. I've had all 3 of them in fantasy at some point this season, and all 3 are incredibly frustrating to own for this reason. Position needs an upgrade, IMO.
Lin clearly outplayed Beverly offensively at the beginning of the season. I thought it's the general consensus that bev is in the starting lineup so that he can help harden on the defensive end, and Lin gets to lead the bench. There were too many incidents throughout this season between McHale and Lin which suggest they don't get along. His attitude and approach to the recent games seem like he doesn't give a **** anymore. I'm not alone to see that.
Linsanity was good but is a farce if LOF's believe that Lin can produce at those levels again. It lasted for a few weeks on a crap injury riddled team that had no options and when teams barely had any time to scout Lin and notice his weaknesses. Lin is what he is - An average point guard with a limited upside who cannot be the starting PG on a championship aspiring team.
Show me the list of point guards on a championship team the last couple decades. The vast majority are average at best. Tony Parker being the exception and he's paired with the the best PF of all-time and an all-time great coach. If anything, the record shows all star caliber point guards do not win championships as often as all star big men/swing men.
I think Lin's a mediocre player right now, and makes a lot of mistakes. But I think the finger pointing at him is excessive. There's plenty of blame to go around for this loss.
LOL and guess what, he lost the freaking game cause he let his man drop 31 and 7 with 0 turnovers. Now that Bledsoe's gone he can inflate his numbers some more, but the team aint winning. You really dont think Lin can drop 19/6 on the Suns?
Spot on. Lin's foot if often in the wrong place when he's spot up shooting?? Gee why does that happen?! Maybe because he's not a freaking spot up shooter?? That's a coaching problem. If you put Andre Johnson in the back field and he gets stuffed behind the line of scrimmage is that his fault?? If you line Arian Foster out in the flat and he runs a loose curl route resulting in an INT, who's fault is that really?
Rondo, Chalmers, Fisher, Kidd Rondo an allstar Chalmers, Fisher and Kidd may be average at the time but they had a defined role in the team because they had other superstars (Lebron, Kobe, Dirk etc). Their roles were to play solid D, shoot the 3 ball well and limit the turnovers Now Lin finds himself in a similar situation with 2 superstars leading the team but he cannot do any of the above - his D is ok, his 3 ball is not great and his turnovers are appalling For Lin to be successful he needs the ball in his hands and be the 1st or 2nd option on offense and i'm sorry to say but no team will ever win a championship with Lin as the 1st or 2nd offensive option. He is just not that good. An average PG at best. He is no Parker.
