For some reason, our offense this year is nothing close to last year. Much much worse, especially considering we dont play defense when it counts.
Was waiting for someone to speak some sense like the above. It can be frustrating and pinning it on Lin as he had the rock on the last 2 possessions can be convenient. He's not been good this game. But neither have the other supporting cast. I assume if we swapped Brooks with Lin he would have been getting much more love. Lets not forget the other sloppy parts from every other member. James 5TO Cisco 1/7 Omri 0/2 Brewer 0/2 Jones 3/10 Dwight was largely ok or average. For the records sake before i get called a LOF, Lin 4TO. There you go. This is a team sport, the opponent outshot us, Korver was excellent and i wish we had him. We lost alot of 2nd chance points due to boxing out issues and the Hawks really had much better D in the last 2 quarters on us. Onward to the next game, Go Rockets!~
Whenever guys on this board called a streak is coming because of inferior teams are lined up next, I knew it's a bad sign. Not superstition or jinx. The guys on the team look at it that way too and think they can just walk in and walk out the gym with a W for sure. The body language, lack of movement in the early on says it, then late in the game play without poise. This team needs a veteran. Maybe Andre Miller.
As much as we all love to blame Lin for the foot on the line shot! it should have never come to that. Terrible, lackadaisical ball movement, the countless turnovers, awful play execution just...*******. It's killing me. I really hope we can parlay Asik into some meaningful role players. Or a veteran who won't let out players think they can win every damn game against "inferior teams"
Like what? Lin sucked tonight but Brewer, Jones, Garcia, and Casspi were bottom pits tonight....what are you talking about. I'm just saying two 2 FTS were super critical at that stage of the game....so hell yeah it was a big factor.
The fact that Lin was only the 4th worst Rocket tonight shows you how bad the team played. Lin objectively sucked, but he wasn't the only one. We need Beverly back so Lin can come off the bench.
Most of those are people with an agenda. The rest who watched the game can see that there was a lot more than one guys toe on the line. Key injuries Poor coaching Lacklustre team effort Non existent bench.
They guy needs to learn how to get a shot off that isn't a layup or a wide open 3. It's hard to watch him right now.
we have injuries. lin needs to be off the bench and bring some energy off the bench. we're a young team. and frankly, McHale is pretty mediocre.
Stop trying to justify Jeremy's bad game. Jeremy sucked and it's killing you because we all saw it. This is why Harden is the superstar and Jeremy is.... well.... Jeremy. Which of course means he sucks.
It's hilarious how everyone points at Lin and he definitely should share the blame, he's just not that good but What about Howard, he should of had 30 and 20 against that front line of Atlanta. Bench basically sucks. Coaching is overmatched. Sad to say but this team is just going to be a teaser, just enough to get you excited and then they unload an unenthusiastic effort like this one, and there have been many.
The Lin site is hilarious right now. Apparently Lin doesn't care anymore and his heart isn't in the game with the Rockets. It was Mchales fault and the Rockets are a bad offensive team and it wasn't lins fault his foot was on the line. They are truly something else. Bad loss. Aaron Brooks and Harden with that horrible play at the end (who's fault was it?). We couldn't get offensive rebounds at the end. Time to move on.
