[QUOTEespecially with an Eastern Conference executive telling CBSSports.com this week that "everyone knows" 2015 free agent Kevin Love wants to sign with LA.][/QUOTE]

Not if he wants to win Championships. The Lakers are done as long as Kobe is on the roster.

Maybe Love doesn't care about winning Championships.

Is Berger credible or worth reading?

Trying to decide if I should bother while at work or skip.

I think it's a mistake to trade Lin now. The more I look I don't see very many good point guards *that we could realisticly pick up* seton Williams is getting old and washed up sort of a waste. Only person I would even consider is rondo even though I despise his personality and overall aura. Lin is playing decently and tbh one of our only other scoring threats because let's face it our bench is poop. Wouldn't mind picking up jr smith but if he's coo coo then idk. Jr would be nice aslong as it doesn't involve Lin going to New York which is doubtful.

JL and OA for DW is a bad trade for houston. Good for the Nets... ,
DWill needs the ball in his Hand, it doesnt solve any problems for us other than Asik.

I am a huge DW fan..but objectively speaking, he's shell of his former self and this would be a bad trade

On the contrary, it is the right time to clear the contracts of Lin and Asik off the books.

Let me put it this way, Rockets system is different than last year. With Casspi and Garcia failing to provide the offensive punch off the bench, not to mention having no alternative to Dwight (since Asik doesn't want to play), Rockets are going to suffer with their new half court system. If they can get an all-star PG, it is worth it for having 3 stars, otherwise, they are better off getting decent bench players and an alternative to Beverley until Canaan develops.

The current system doesn't require Lin's talents; it's a waste of money.

Upgrade over Toney Douglas, Kent Bazemore, and Nedovic.
