"allow" live tv.......LOL. You will not be able to do LIVE TV unless the broadcast and cable networks allow. Which they won't unless you have Cable or SAT. Plus, that feature will be a separate cost (they mention that part yet). Most of Sony "cloud" strategy is reactionary throw in to see what sticks. The PS4 was not designed with the Multimedia strategy the XB1 was. Everything sounds good on the PS4, but in typical Sony fashion, it won't live up to the initial WOW factor. LOL. Yeah, the whole streaming old games......bandwidth.......will be a HUGE issue...also...it will be an EXTRA cost.

Reactionary? They bought Gaikai (the underlining infrastructure for PlayStation Now) in June 2012. All you hear is cloud this cloud that; this is an actual cloud based service. They've also had cloud saves through PSN+ for years now. Cloud cloud cloud. You have no idea how any of this works, yet you continue popping off about it. The fact that you think it is somehow going to make graphical fidelity better on Xbox means, again...you have a fundamental lack of understanding in how the technology works. You mentioned how bandwidth is going to be a problem for streaming gameplay, yet they're only recommending 5Mbps down. And again, you say this will be an issue while simultaneously believing that the cloud infrastructure will magically make your Xbox One on par graphically with what the PS4 hardware can output. Do you also believe that Microsoft wasn't in any way working with the NSA to provide backdoors to their tech? I have some swampland in Florida I want you to check out.

Side note: mentioning cost of well...anything...as your argument in favor of Xbox...you need to stop.

    50% is a huge difference.
Yes some of your statements are true but at the end of the day overall the graphics on the ps4 is simply going to be better. Launch games or not both systems are experiencing launch games and the ps4 already looks better.

The gap between the ps4 and xb1 is larger than the gap between the ps3 and 360

Me: Can we get something other than PR for the Cloud?

    *PR posted about the Cloud.*

Sony didn't have give access to the NSA, because an entry-level hacker at the NSA could bypass PSN's security. They had ANOTHER data breach last month. Anyway....Forza looked better than ANY of the launch games on either system. Ryse (while the game play maybe average) also looked better than anything launched on the PS4. How is that possible? I thought the PS4 from the get go will blow away the XB1. Again....Specs on paper doesn't tell the whole story. Optimization is the key.

Go play your PS4 and be happy.

Silent Hill 3 (PS2) looks better than Silent Hill 5 (PS3/360).

    PS2 > PS3/360.

Last of Us looks better than {whatever} on PS4/XBO.

    PS3 > PS4/XBO.

Therefore, due to the transitive property:
    PS2 > PS4/XBO

    Of course, Vita+Cloud >>> anything.

This is certainly true for Tactical Shooters games. Oh wait, there aren't any for PS4/XBO. Now it is all about invisibility cloaks and carrying 200 rounds of belt fed ammo while sprinting across a kill zone.

Car racing games become more realistic and shooters become more arcade. Invisibility cloaks smh.

RIP Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm.

    Preach on.

Could we consider Arma to be the one remaining holdout? I haven't actually played Arma 3, so I'm not sure.

Just because it's called Rainbow Six doesn't necessarily mean it will be a true tactical shooter game, though. More likely to be an arcade shooter dressed up to look tactical in marketing materials.

Just look at what happened to Thief. Look at what happened to Syndicate.

I truly can't believe how petty this thread has gotten in the last few pages. It is like I'm sitting in a Call of Duty lobby and people are claiming to have had sex with my mother.

There is no future for tactical shooters as long as mindless kids continue to buy CoD.

Titanfall isn't a tactical shooter. Realism isn't exactly what they were going for; he's referring to realistic shooters.
