    "Injury."

All right, all right, maybe there's some "there" there. But I still think he'll be magically healed soon.

The reason why Asik is not healing have been revealed!

Mr.Morey ignores Dr.McHale who told him to take ''trade Asik'' pills. Pills are magical and works in just a blink of an eye!

Keep an eye on Channing Frye, I guess:

The main Suns fan blogs have touched on the subject of Phoenix acquiring Thad Young. That rumor has been floating about since December.

In that Asik-Thad deal, Young was to be re-routed elsewhere...

Do that trade... Frye is perfect fit.... Doing better than barg.

    Best floor spacing big

We could deal asik to 76ers
    Thad to suns
    Frye to Houston

    Or deal asik for hawes

Either one of those trades makes us better just do it already.

I actually prefer frye cause he can play the 4 better than hawes

I'm guessing that Morey would have already made that trade if the Sixers had been interested.

Same with Frye. As much as I hate to admit it, even though it doesn't count against the cap, most owners are simply not interested in Asik's balloon contract. Remember though, if Dwight had not surprised the league by coming here, Asik's contract would be considered a small price to pay for stealing him from the Bulls.

Yeah, when Steve Kerr floated this Asik-Frye idea on national TV, leading to a Morey laugh about Kerr still acting on behalf of the Suns, I didn't think much of it at the time; but if a three-team deal can be made to work, I'm down with it.

The Suns would have to yield a pick here or there. Young is tearing it up lately.

I dunno I think honestly this deal would work for all parties.

Remember hinkie knows asiks value. He was here and prob has same high opinion of asik as morey.

"Sources tell the Sporting News that the Pelicans are actively shopping Eric Gordon.

This report was published before word of Jrue Holiday's stress fracture broke, but we suspect it still holds. The Pelicans want to unload Gordon's four-year, $48 million contract in order to get a true center to play next to franchise player Anthony Davis. Of course, trading a small for a big is always difficult in the NBA, especially when that small is so injury prone and carries a prohibitive contract. Ultimately, we'd be surprised if New Orleans were able to make a deal with Gordon work."

3 team trade somehow with Asik??

My first thought is get Indiana involved to get Scola back but we're not allowed to trade for Scola during the length of his contract!

    We once pursued Eric Gordon.

    Once.

He'd fit into the small-ball concept that McHale loves (unless you play Harden alongside him at the 1 and 2).

Maybe the Suns still want him?

His injuries may scare suitors away.

I would take Eric Gordon and make him a career 6th man. He is actually healthy for a change. He is shooting the 3 ball well again. He is only 25. He could be the Rockets version of Jason Terry.

Obviously health is a concern but he would be your 6th man and not your primary star. Plus the guy has talent that matches the fact that he was a 7th pick in his draft. When he is on he can take over a game.

Are there safer trades? Yes. But are there any trades out their that would bring back the type of talent that Eric Gordon has? Probably not.

The Rockets need to somehow get Dragic, Frye, Tucker, & one of their four first round picks. I get the sense the Suns are ready to deal now that Bledsoe needs surgery for a torn meniscus.

It's win now, but at the same time, maintain flexibility & assets for Kevin Love.

His usage rate is down this year from 26 to 22 which appears to be a result of Tyreke more than Holiday. Close to Lins 21.

His efficiencies are slightly worse than Lins the past couple years so unless you are upgrading on the defensive end there doesnt appear to be much difference between what he and Lin would provide in a similar role.

You are paying a higher price tag for an additional year (compared to the Asik/Lin contracts), as well.

You might be able to give Harden more rest with a guy Like Gordon, who would be a huge upgrade over a Garcia as a back-up. And if you are exchanging him for Asikwho has been a big zero this year, you immediately upgrade the current roster.

BUT if Morey's end game is to bring a true 3rd star in, Gordon removes that possibility (unless he is part of a trade). And considering he hasn't been able to stand out in a backcourt with Holiday and Evans he certainly isn't that 3rd star.

Don't think this is our move.
