It was the 4th game in 5 nights and it was also the 2nd game of a back to back on the road. OKC were at home rested after 3 or 4 days off.
The Rockets without Harden manhandled the Clippers last season as well on their 4th game in 5 night. Playing without rest is basically playing 5v6. You are playing against a 6th defender at all time because you are far more likely to miss open shots.
OKC just had a ridiculously good game and the rockets played the worst they did all season. They had like 5 points with 3 minutes left to go in the 1st qtrt...
Reggie Jackson is one of the ugliest NBA players I have ever seen. Dude looks like Sam Cassell's bro.
It's really more if an indictment of Brooks, whose offensive system is basically streetball. So when Westbrook goes out, the other players don't know what do do because there are no set plays.
Look how much better Denver is now that Ratface Miller is out of the rotation. I guarantee that any team will rue the day that they pick up that cancer.
During a timeout, he basically goes up to Westbrook shaking his head saying stuff like "I don't know whats going on anymore or what happened, reggie jackson doesn't have a feel for when to pass the ball or run the offense blah blah.. (more throwing him under the bus)." Westbrook just standing there telling him to calm down and telling him what to do (not rocket science maybe Ibaka is an idiot and shouldn't shoot jumpers all day). This all taking place as everybody on the team is watching and even Reggie Miller can hear everything and reiterates it all. Yea, you never do that no matter what it is. Especially when you don't have room to talk and you do it publicly completely risking team chemistry. Brooks or Durant should have told him to shutup, one of the rare times I agree with Reggie.
That Durant , Westbrool pairing might be the best in the league in terms of synergy. OKC is just not dangerous without Westbrook. I would like to see how they fare with Westbrook and Durant.
