Damn only in Houston a player would get 4 days of rest and be injured on his 1st day back at practice lol

What did you guys think of Ronnie's minutes last night I didn't get to see the whole game it seems he brought some defensive intensity, do you guys think his energy had anything to do with the 3rd quarter tightness on D

Garbage on offense. Pretty good D, but not elite level and IMO, doesn't make up for his lack of offense.

Brewer might as well not have even played.

What a stunner. Playing Parsons 37 mpg rather than, say, 33 mpg with Casspi or Garcia or Covington making up the other 4 minutes....just isn't the way to go?

And some people wonder why I criticize McHale?

Guys, saw Chandler yesterday and talked to him a bit... I think this may be more serious then thought. The guy can BARELY walk... Walking VERY slow and very gingerly. He wasnt even wearing regular shoes with his suit last night, he was wearing slippers.

    Just an FYI.

Sorry I'm relatively new here. Where do you get all this info from? Are you working with the organization at some degree?

Mchale is going to run this team into the ground with his minutes management.

How bad are you trying to justify your preconceived notions? Going from thread to thread regurgitating the same nonsense about how it's the coach's fault for everything from lack of effort by individuals on individual plays to practice injuries. You and SF3 are holding down that viewpoint quite vocally.

How do you explain Greg Smith's injury? Is he not getting enough playing time and is so tight that the injury is just inevitably going to happen? Is there a golden zone where if you play X amount of minutes, injury can never find its way to you like you are rocking God mode on a video game?

I know this is going to sound like a shocker to most people who have never competed in anything in their lives, but INJURIES HAPPEN TO ATHLETES *gasp*. Go to the YMCA and see people who have been "well rested" in office chairs for weeks come out of a pick-up game with ankle, foot, knee, shoulder problems. Go to the other extreme and check out Olympians who are injured during training. I know a chick that was close to making the US curling team who fractured her knee on the ice and needed surgery. Let me know who she should be blaming for her injury. Do you even watch the NFL, or are you too busy screaming at your TV about the coach causing every player injury on the field?

Please advise us mere mortals who simply play the games and take the risk of being injured on how to stay away from injury for all of time. Speaking of which, I injured my hamstring/knee at my jiu-jitsu gym a few months back, who should I blame for my injury? Cause I'm thinking it was either the lighting, the mats on the wall or my training partner's fault, not my lack of focus and preparation by not properly stretching out beforehand...

The people on this website who have this point-of-view must be the most unathletic bunch of armchair QB's ever to grace the keyboard with their Jabba-the-Hut existence.

I totally agree though, if Chandler was averaging 33 minutes per game instead of 37, there is no way he would've bumped knees with Greg Smith in that practice........ effing sigh.

Don't try to find out who insiders are as they drives them away. Just be happy they are here and enjoy their offerings.

McHale is just a Thibodeau wannabe.

Just thought cyberx should be more careful if he indeed works with the organization.

"Guys, saw Chandler yesterday and talked to him a bit..."

This sentence alone would make it very easy to identify him within the organization, that is if Morey really wanted to run a tight ship.

So you believe four less minutes during the game would have prevented a knee collision during practice. Interesting, tell us more.

Eh, He mentioned how he went a little hard the other night. Probably just soreness. Obviously I appreciate your inside info, but I don't think this is as big a deal as some note. I consider myself to be in great shape for a 25 year old and I have days where I move around like a zombie after a leg day etc.

4 minutes per game adds up during a season. also Parsons has had several injuries this season and playing through an injury a lot of the time leads to others since he's probably compensating for it with other body parts.

So Chandler Parsons playing 38 mpg including with a bad back has no bearing on getting hurt during a practice or how well he may or may not recover?

    Okey-dokey artichokey.

And I'm sure Kobe's fractured knee had nothing to do with (recovering from) the hamstring injury. (They say it doesn't but, you know, come on now.)

Yeah, wear and tear doesn't accumulate until things just kinda break down.

First Chandler's knee. Then, while resting the knee, the hamstring hurts. Given the direction this is traveling I hate to think what will be affected next but I'm sure it'll be called:
