@ESPNStatsInfo: James Harden: 1st Rockets player to score at least 37 points in 3 consecutive games since Hakeem Olajuwon in 1994-95
5 games in 7 days? Jesus I didn't even look at our upcoming schedule. All of those teams are tough as hell, they won't be easy wins that's for sure. Obviously OKC is the game most people have got their eyes on. I want redemption. That slaughter a couple weeks ago was tough to watch.
Harden is in a groove... hopefully he stays healthy, and I hope Chandler gets back there quickly. Not having him available for this road trip would really suck.
he's shooting 48% from the field. What is your definition of inconsistent? If a baseball player is a 300+ hitter and goes 2-5, 0-4,3-4, 4-6,1-5,2-4,1-5 in consecutive games, do you call that inconsistent? Bev consistent on defense based on what? He really has not been any more consistent than Lin on D. He had 1 standout game vs cp3, 1 on curry, but that's really it. I dont know what your expectation is. Last 2 games, Lin shot 57% from the field, with 14 points (which is right on his average) so how is today a sign of inconsistency? Cause he didnt shoot 57% again? Take out the 2 games in early December he played hurt and his numbers are virtually identical to his november numbers.
It's going to get even tougher if McHale is sticking to his 8 man rotation. What a perfect time to re-introduce D-Mo and Ronnie Brewer back into the NBA, huh ? After rusting on the bench for months.
Could be. Why not? You only named 2 positions. * It may be because their talent advantage at the PG & PF will offset our advantage at the SG & C... * Or perhaps because their bench would be healthier or show more talent... * Or, since it's playoff - the reason would most likely be that they were more aggressive and/or they're better coached/prepared. BUT ALL THAT IS ACADEMIC ONLY - SINCE WE'RE GONNA WIN IT IN 6 GAMES!
I would like us to have more assists as a team. We have 2 assists in the first quarter. I really hope we could develop more plays that involve more players
McHale tried like hell with Brewer tonight... (The guy started, and played 23 minutes!) Brewer just doesn't take any of the chances he gets! (DMo is certainly much better at that) For ****'s sake - Brewer made 5 points combined this year! (well - in the 17 games & 101 minutes he played) And that's not the whole story: The more minutes he played - the worse he contributed... Whenever he got real PT (vs Nets, Pistons, Lakers - 14, 14, 23 minutes respectively) - He ended up with absolute 0 points and a negative +/- (-14, -11, -1 respectively). .
Harden played good defense, and so did Lin, unless you watched a different game. That is from me, a fair minded (at least trying to be) Rockets fan. But if you have an agenda, then it is no use to say this to you.
Respect The Beard damnit.... And ship off McHale. This team shouldn't need Harden to go bat 5h!t crazy to beat the Lakers.
Do you watch the games or just the box score? That is all you are doing...some players do things that are not reflected in the box score. Brewer did fine out there today. Feed Dwight the ball in the block, didn't take bad shots, played pretty good defense.
Upon closer observation, Lin's 3 tonight hit the front rim a lot and wide left. Seemed like his form was off. Hope he gets his stroke back soon, as his shooting is slumping lately.

This has nothing to do with Beverley. Anyway, Lin is better than beverely so he is held to a higher standard. He had a bad game. Accept it. Hopefully he plays better Friday.
