Sounds about right, same way it went with Wade. Fired by cowboys, coached east/westgame, hired by Texans the following Monday

 

Havent heard much on the OC position- Heard he wanted Bill Lazor the Eagles QB Coach- but nothing more to that rumor.

I was thinking if we got him, than would Manziel become more of an option..

If the rumors are true, than it would seem that Manziel has the upper hand on that number one pick.

I have a feeling Johnny is going to blow away people at the combine.

If he is taken, McNair will be the guy who chose the pick in my opinion. If you are O'Brien you really have no choice than to go with McNair on it.

 

Good, he obviously never corrected Newton's backpedaling. I am even sour that we kept Kollar.

I believe O'Brien and Lazor are long time friends. I beleive J.R. posted an article about him a few pages back. May have nothing to do with Johnny.

But there is this of O'Brien and Lazor going "way back"

I believe Lazor just interviewed for OC in Miami and also the giants want him for OC

 

For those wondering - Ferentz (under his dad) has been running a ZBS at Iowa.

Makes sense, one thing you don't want to change is the run game. Hopefully he can shore up the pass protection though.
