I think it's kind of dumb that we don't protect the identities of the accused and the accuser in situations like this.
Sure - if he can prove she lied, and wants to go through the ugly process of taking the stand and answer all sorts of fun questions like "why did you cheat on your girlfriend?" etc.
That would be incredibly stupid. It will keep this story hanging over him longer, and there will be little to gain financially from her. There is also the possibility that new evidence would turn up in a civil case that could lead to charges against him.
Wish they did the same for the accused. If Winston loses out on the Hiesman because of a lie it will cost him millions and that's not fair either
