Ridiculous. But he's almost assured of going in next year now. One vote short... wow.

    (They don't round up?)

Why wouldn't they be proud of themselves? They didn't think he deserved to get in, obciously.

I can't believe it! I'm very disappointed. Missing by .2 is pure crap.

I think Frank Thomas is deserving of getting in. I don't know that he's deserving ahead of Biggio, but I don't fault Thomas getting in.

I'm just so pissed about Biggio not getting in this year. That one writer listed on here who voted against Biggio might have been the guy that kept Biggio out of the hall. It's such BS.

Problem with guessing based on public votes available, is that most idiots aren't willing to share how stupid they are.

He'll get in next year (since Randy and Pedro are only two new guys who should be first ballot guys). Still a f'n joke that he's not in.

Also the fact that Big Hurt is a 1st ballot guy and Bags isn't looking very promising right now is a crock as well.

Is he? Somehow voters can change their minds on who is hall worthy one year vs the next year (despite the player not doing anything that would "hurt" his chances... Now u could have voters questioning their votes for him since he's not even a second ballot HOFer)

Who are the first timers eligible for next year?

The argument that players from this market aren't disrespected sounds really damn hollow right about now.

What kills me is that guys like Jacque Jones, Armando Benitez, and Kenny Rogers all got 0.2%, or at least 1 vote. Must be their hometown writers, but they should feel terrible that a guy like Biggio was just a couple of votes short.

Kukjian just nailed it on Biggio. Called him "slam dunk" Hall of Famer...went through stats...and said, "are you kidding me?"

Smoltz will get votes. Hell, Nomar will get votes. Randy and Pedro get in for sure.

Biggio "should" get in based on this group, but there will be voters who change their votes to not include him (and vice versa)
