The reason COD is at 720 isn't bc of the hardware...it's bc the developers didn't have the necessary time to maximize the game on the XBox. Nobody is saying the Xbox has the same power as the PS4...but the Xbox is more than capable of running games at 1080p and 60 fps, as has been shown already. I'm not sure how you're concluding that COD has already maximized the One's capability...that's just totally false. When it comes to exclusives, the PS4 will shine. When it comes to multiplats, I don't see there being much difference.
Why is it so hard to keep this garbage in the console wars thread? Why do we need 3 separate console war threads going simultaneously? No one cares how much you like your Xbox, this is the wrong thread.
Am I the only person who owns the ps4 but has been really underwhelmed. I mean besides the graphics, I have not been as excited as I hoped
I do find that I don't play it as much as I'd have hoped. I don't regret buying it though. I guess I will get more use out of it once a few more games that interest me are released.
The launch games for both consoles are pretty weak. I've been almost exclusively playing NBA2K14, with some Lego Marvel Super Heroes (with the wife) mixed in. Some Killzone here and there, lots of indie games. Wait until March, the onslaught of awesomeness begins. Additionally it sounds like Playstation Now will be in beta before then, so perhaps you'll be able to get some PS3 cloud fun going as well. Lastly this doesn't mention the vast amount of indie games that will come out this year. January: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (I've been looking at this since I didn't play it on PC. Probably will pass. I've heard nothing but positive reviews, and the visual upgrades look great.) February: Thief 4 (Never played any of these, but I know it's the originator) Rayman Legends (Only reason I'm not buying this is I already have it for Wii U. It >>> Rayman Origins. Pretty is an understatement.) March: Infamous: Second Son (this looks like the "Killer App", other than the aforementioned Remote Play). Drive Club (I don't even like racing games and I'm all over this) Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (I haven't played any of MGS really, except 2 briefly. I might give it a shot.) Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition (? this may have been delayed for PS4, but it seemed like March was the target. I'm crazy hunting fun couch co-op games for the wife and I. Seems I may have finally got her hooked on video games again) Non-PS4 game: South Park: The Stick of Truth (I know I know, not for PS4. I couldn't help but mention this one, it looks amazing. It'll get ported sooner or later. It is on PC though!) April: MLB 14 The Show (Only MLB game on next gen, who knew?)

My comment had nothing to do with console wars or one console being superior to the other. If I had said the xbox is better than the ps4, then you have a point. All I did was correct a post that said the xbox one has been maximized at 720...that's simply not true. It has nothing to do with the PS4...and i already said that the PS4 would shine when it comes to exclusives. You're too sensitive about "console wars"...a discussion is a discussion. If someone wants to talk crap about a console, that can be reserved for another thread. I didn't do such a thing, so no need for my comments to go elsewhere.
Another thing about sales is 1 week after the XB1 release I saw a bunch at Wal-Mart just sitting there. It's much easier for MS to supply XB1s to the US, but Sony has to send them here along with other countries. This means they will be the clear winner in this console war. And when it comes to consoles, it's best to choose a winner.
Yeah, I look at the livestreams all the time (usually very briefly). I like to see games I might get in action. Sometimes the players can give out useful information in 2K and what not. I don't stream, but that's only because my internet blows. I use remote play through my vita a lot, and it's amazing. I accidentally got billed for an extra month of the music unlimited service (it sucks), but I use it often right now to listen to music while I play games / browse the web / whatever (hopefully they'll add spotify or something). The web browser is pretty solid. The Vidzone app is very good. There's some cool stuff there, and most of it is free.
And it's still getting outsold in the US, what's your point? The reason they're not on shelves in the US is cus they're getting bought the second they come into stores.
Thanks to our equalilent of cable (it is called foxtel here) they have a exclusive deals which deals with content owners to show the content here in Australia. Which basically means because they have a monopoly over certain shows they take their time showing us the new eps and have 0 incentive or competition to change
Oh damn, I didn't even mention Netflix I thought it was a given. That really sucks, I'm sorry. I watch a lot of movies / tv on my PS4.

You can renew your membership through the PSN store on your PS4, or you can go to the website. You can get membership cards at most grocery stores and the usual suspects.
