Oh man, please keep it proportional. The Rockets are doing very well considering that they are not even playing to their abilities. My only hope is that the Rockets will not face OKC in the first round. Not that I'm afraid of the PKC, but I think the Rockets will do better against them after warming up against somebody else.

I think McHale will play Cisco for Parsons' minutes. McHale needs Casspi in the second unit, because he is the energizer there. However, Casspi's minutes may go up significantly. The only really nagging problem is Asik. Is he going to be traded or is he coming back (and when)?

I don't think it's just the coach like people are implying. I think it's just the way the way Rockets management handles things, because they ran their players to the ground when Jeff Van Gundy, and Rick Adleman were coaching the team also. Rockets just don't trust their other rotation and bench players enough to rest the core stars of the team. mean while teams like teh spurs, and heat can rest their star players and still get easy regular season wins.

I like omri casspi as a jerome kersey type of post up small forward that will occasionally hit the 3 or run past a defender. He will never great perimeter defender but I take post over speed any day. If he gets some minutes at the small forward, get some play off experience and not make delusional decisions on the court than his season will be a success. A guy on his way out of the nba will probably have a 10-12 year career in the nba.

If he wasn't drafted by the wrong team, traded to the wrong team and having the learning curve of being the first israeli in the nba he would of been something special. I saw him at 17 and he was special. If he wasn't white and israeli he would of been a lottery pick.

    Amen, brother.

(stolen from "Starsky and Hutch", starting with subtitled father-and-son conversation in Korean)

Kevin McHale: CHANDLER! CHANDLER! Shoot three-pointers! All the time!

Chandler Parsons: Yes, Babu-ji, I will shoot many!

(later, Clutchfans has seized control of the Rockets organization and J.R. is interrogating McHale)

J.R.: What's up with the beauty queen throwing headfakes at the three-point line?

Kevin McHale: That is no beauty queen! That is my son!

J.R.: Your son, hunh? Why's he playing so many minutes? He looks hurt! I'd say his back, and maybe even a knee!

Kevin McHale: He is a good son! He will save my job!

J.R.: Not if I can help it! (signals to people behind one-way mirror) Lin fans! Lock him in Cell 666 until the end of the season! And tell Jeremy he's starting for the rest of the season! Tell him not to screw up!

Lin fans: (opening door, dragging McHale away, speaking in unison) GLADLY! YAY!

J.R.: Carl Herrera! Call your boy Patterson! Toronto wants to tank, right? Tell him we're trading Dmo for him!

    Carl H: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

BimaThug: WAIT! Remember the CBA! We'll have to throw in another player to match salaries! I expected better of you, J.R.!

Out of all the coaches, I think Rick Adelman was the only one that didn't run players to the ground. He knows how and when to use his stars and role players. The only time I ever see Adelman overplay his players was during the playoff, but that was expected.

Seems legit why DMo stayed with the Rockets - Smith got injury and no back-up center again.

If it's a game time decision, it must not be too serious.

It's not, but he will likely miss the game or two.

He does, but we don't need him to be hip, just get out there and play.
