That's only if you view Bridgewater as a can't miss QB and don't really grade any of the other QBs similarly.

If a poorly run team like the Browns fall in love with Teddy and come calling with an offer like the Redskins did a couple of years ago (1st round swap, 2 future firsts and a second rounder) I'm taking that unless I am willing to risk my job that Teddy is the answer. Those picks are very likely to be in the top 10 again.

Then you take Manziel, Barr, or Matthews depending on who is available and address QB in the 2nd round if you have to (or perhaps trade up a few spots and take Bortles if he falls).

When did I say I was mad.

Everyone has their own opinion and no I have not ever called Teddy a surefire number 1 pick. I do believe that he should be our pick if we choose to keep the #1 pick.

You said you never said what I posted so I proved you wrong.

My problem is more on people trying to knock his talents, accomplishments, and abilities based on just their opinions while still ignoring the facts.

Buddy the only thing you proved is that there are several players I would rather have drafted other than QB in the first round, not just one or two like you stated.

And I didn't discredit Teddy or anything he's done... But what facts are you speaking of..??? I know for fact he went 19-29 for 203 yards and no TDs against Houston and when you talking about taking a quarterback with a number one overall pick _ those facts should be discussed.

    You want the facts?

The Cougars had the 20th best pass defense prior to Saturday's game.

Cherry-picking at its finest. In Andrew Luck's last season at Stanford, he went 17 of 26 for 171 yards against San Jose State. Based on your logic, he definitely should not have been drafted #1.

To me it's clear Bridgewater is the only QB who deserves to be picked at 1. None of the other QBs has talents that translate well to the NFL. Manziel is tempting but he would be another one in the Michaek Vick RG3 mold. Someone would have to put a ball and chain on his ankle to teach him to avoid having his career cut short by injury. Blaine Bortles yuck, ntyvm. If it really comes down to the second round then I wouldn't hate a pick like Tajh Boyd, just someone with potential who would be good value for that round.

Still though, in today's NFL you have to keep rolling dice on QB until you hit the jackpot. It's all offense all the time now, and no one is winning a championship without a great one.

So you're basing his success on one game.

The same argument you use when we bring up the 2012 Sugar Bowl....

Yeah he's been consistent overall, besides one game were he had no touchdowns and threw no interceptions while his running back scored twice and had 137 yards rushing on 27 carries is a negative? Did they lose that game? Um, no! If he would have thrown 3 INTs and lost the game then I can see that as a negative but obviously his coach and him exploited the defense for what they were giving up. On top of that, HE STILL COMPLETED 90% OF HIS PASSES!

You guys are seriously reaching with your criticisms of Teddy.

That doesn't even begin to tell the story. TB starts the 1st series 5 for 5 and they score but the next 3 series either sacks penalties or both put them in 3rd and 22 , 3rd & 18, 3rd & 23. The last series of the half he has only 25 seconds to oerate and his receiver drops a pass right in his chest.

The second half he completes a couple of passes to start one a long 39 yard to Parker and they score on a 3 yard rush. The next series he drives them down making another long pass downfield but then he throws a bad pass to copeland on 3rd and 9 but they get the FG.

After that he was sacked on another third down ending a series and on a 3rd and 2 Perry rushes for a loss ending another series and he had a 3rd and 7 and overthrew parker downfield.

4 passes were just straight out dropped, 1 parker slipped on his route, 1 was batted at the line on a screen, and another was the last play of the half and no one was open downfield so he threw it out of bounds to avoid the sack.

You have to watch the game to understand while it wasn't his best game he didn't look bad. UH played good and Louisville decided to run more against them. His team made some stupid penalties, recievers dropped passes and in the end it was TB's passing that won the game even though the numbers don't show it.

So let me ask you — if you get Clowney, do you try to trade for a vet? Someone, maybe like "Big Tex" (Mallett)?

Wait a minute... With all the criticism and hate you and others throw around about Johnny and you say I'm reaching because I bring up a football game... WTF...!!!! You guys don't even talk football when it comes to Johnny _ just off the field TMZ stuff... But when I bring up a "FOOTBALL GAME" for Teddy _ you say I'm reaching. Lol.

Yes _ he was good in the bowl game in 2012 (not overall #1 pick good though) and I expected him to dominate that conference this year with the talent he has and the talent on that team around him and he didn't and that concerns me. Obviously it doesn't concern you. And hopefully for you and those who want Bridgewater, it won't concern McNair, Smith, and O'Brien. Heck, maybe I'm the only one who looks at that and no one else on the planet even considers it. I also worry about his body build (and Johnny's). But maybe the Texans don't even care about that either.

If there was talent on the team they would've made the BCS Championship.

Please list the talent on that team, please.
