Not sure if it's a hoax! Even though CNN is reporting it, I'm still very skeptical about this guy producing a real Bigfoot corpse. I hope I'm wrong because I think it would be pretty cool to see a legend/myth coming to life! Are you a skeptic or a believer in Bigfoot?... or do you have a story to tell of seeing one? Smoking Gun? ....... ....... .......
Link Here it is folks -- Hank, modeled after a character from Lord of the Ring. This is supposedly the "Bigfoot" Rick Dyer claimed to have shot. In 2008, Rick Dyer tried to hoax the world by saying he shot and killed a Bigfoot, but his entire plan to take the body on a tour was brought to a grinding halt when Squatchdetective Steve Kulls exposed his fake Bigfoot-in-a-freezer. It's now 2014 and Dyer is pulling the same strings, but this time, he's moving full steam ahead regardless of his "Bigfoot" being a cheap knockoff of a dwarf from Peter Jackson's Lord of the Ring.
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture! It looks a lot like Gimli from Lord of the Rings. ....... ....... .......

if it was real and the hunter shot and killed him.. how exactly is big foot coming to life? quite the opposite if you ask me
Gotta love humans, we can't wait to see a mythical creature so we can kill/ capture it and parade it around. I thought there were laws against shooting bigfoot if you saw him...
The FBI should take a look at the evidence. Either he murdered someone and needs to go to prison, he's made a fake to defraud people and needs to go to prison, or he really shot Bigfoot and could really profit from confirmation from the FBI -- though I'll go out on a limb here and say option 3 isn't very likely.
If it was number 3 he would be in trouble... its illegal to just go around shooting things even "Bigfoot". If you read the last part it states that if he shot "Bigfoot" and it was later determined that it's species is related to humans he could be charged with homicide. plus any money he would make off of "Bigfoot" would be seized.
