There was this one where you, not surprisingly, defended a bigot.

Freedom of speech apparently only for liberals

"I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once," the reality star said of growing up in pre-Civil-Rights-era Louisiana. "Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. I'm with the blacks, because we're white trash. We're going across the field ... They're singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, 'I tell you what: These doggone white people' — not a word!"

Robertson continued, "Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues."

I'm not minimizing anything. It was a bad move, and I wrote that.

You, on the other hand, want to go bezerk on anything "liberal." You would think Democrats are like Nazis after reading your posts.

When it comes down to it, no matter if what someone says is logical or factual, you lack the ability to consider a different point of view because of your political ego.

There are many republican issues I agree with. There are many republican friends of mine that can communicate a disagreement without automatically claiming horrible, delusional and false things about liberals.

And, if you want to talk about hypocrisy, again, your signature is a perfect example.
You are one of a kind.

I don't watch either, but with the recent hosts being canned for homophobic and inappropriate statements isn't MSNBC scrapping bottom harder than FOX?

No, because Fox doesn't fire their hosts for making inappropriate statements, those statements are desired and encouraged.

Examples of Fox hosts that don't get fired even when they make wildly inaccurate statements?

The only high profile Fox host I am aware of actually leaving was Glenn Beck and, IIRC, he left of his own volition, he wasn't fired.

    This article confirms that observation...

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/pol...ing-fox-compares-paul-revere-article-1.114381

As far as inaccurate, jingoistic, xenophobic, or downright racist remarks made on Fox, they are so numerous that I don't really feel that it is necessary to catalog them.

Just off the top of my head, on the other hand, there have been two relatively high profile MSNBC hosts who were let go for making remarks that don't even begin to approach the egregious statements made on Fox, Keith Olbermann and Martin Bashir. To be fair, Bashir "resigned," but it seems clear that he did so as a result of the comments he made about Sarah Palin and it is my perception that the decision wasn't his.

I think what we should all agree on is this:

outrageous crap on any TV "news" channel is not really worth BBS bandwidth.

They are all just crapmeisters, recycling one another's swill, desperately seeking the attention of viewers.

    Read, don't watch.

My rule is that I won't accet video material from MSNBC, CNN, Fox, or YouTube as evidence of anything at all. I read my news and form my own opinions, I don't need others' opinions spoon fed to me by a pundit of any ideological leaning.

I didn't know about Olbermann but I just remember from the news Alec Baldwin called someone a fa**ot and Bashir said everyone should sh#t in Sarah Palin's mouth. Anything like that from Fox?

Alec Baldwin doesn't work for MSNBC, does he (I honestly don't know or care much)?

Beck once said about Pelosi "I put poison in your wine glass" among other things, and that is just Glenn Beck...

    http://mediamatters.org/research/2011/06/30/the-50-worst-things-glenn-beck-said-on-fox-news/131451

But as far as I am concerned, the worst things on Fox are the misleading and just plain false information that they put out under the guise of "news." Say what you want about MSNBC, but I don't see them just plain lying as I have Fox anchors do repeatedly. I'll grant you that I only see articles written about these issues as I don't watch either channel ever, but do a Politifact or Snopes search for MSNBC and Fox "lies" and the record is clear.

Not worth it given that you would ignore it anyway. Your bias is so strong I could give you a video of Hannity shooting a baby and you would find a way to justify his actions.
