They were missing Jelani Jenkins... they still had two first round picks in Sharrif Floyd and Matt Elam, a second rounder in Jon Bostic and a sixth rounder in Josh Evans... plus more underclassmen with NFL talent.
hehe TY.. I was about to correct him. I think every single post by bigtexxx requires correction one way or another.
Yeah remind me again what "key" defensive talent they were missing? Shariff Floyd - nope Jon Bostic - nope Maybe Matt Elam - nope As much as you all attempt to discredit what he's done, he's proven he can do it and has done so in the clutch as well. You buncha haters.
The guy that played running back and had 11 total tackles on defense that year? Yeah that was a HUGE game changer. HA!
The guy played very well...he was getting pressured on almost every play. If Andrew Luck is getting praised for coming back and winning a playoff game despite having a bad first half, the same goes for Winston. The guy was nails in the 2nd half, but instead of winning a playoff game, he wins the national championship. What was that last drive...6-6 for 70+ yards and a game winning TD? He couldnt have played better when the team needed him most.
Wisnton played great, but boy does he sound stupid. That always makes me nervous about a guys ability to read NFL defenses. None of this has anything to do with Bridgewater btw
Probably because he's been playing football since he was 4 years old. Dude's brain is probably closer to an 60 year old than a 20 year old by this point.
I don't watch college football, but his statline looks pretty good against what I assume to be a great defense. Was that more on his teammates then? Also just realized Winston's only 1 year younger than Bridgewater. Always thought it was 2 years younger due to all the hype regarding his play "at a young age." That knocked him down a peg in my mind with regards to his future potential.
kid grew up in Alabama, got accepted to Stanford and Notre Dame LeBron speaks broken english, same as Cam Newton, does that mean they suck as athletes....
that was a John Elway/ Andrew Luck like final drive to win the game... the kid is clutch and is only 19... he will break a lot of teams hearts in the NFL in the final seconds similar to Luck... Kiper was right on with that comparison
Skyrim's baaaaaaaaack! Srs, though, brah, I'm just glad you're still with us after Andrew Luck's heroics on Saturday
