I agree. Let him take his time so he can come back fresh and ready on Friday instead of rushing it for tomorrow's game.

    Doesn't sound promising.

"Had a chance to catch up with Omer Asik. Would not address trade request, rumors or not being traded. Of knee, "It's feeling much better." - feigen 1/6/14

    I'm tired of Asik's BS.

He's clearly buying time until the February trade deadline. He doesn't want to play another game in a Rockets uniform.

IMO Asik coming back and playing 8-10 games of an outstanding 20 min or so would probably help his chances of being dealt.

having absolutely no timetable for a return is the key indicator here.

westbrook has a timetable after knee surgery.

koby has a timetable after a fractured knee.

cp3 has a timetable after a grade 3 shoulder separation.

asik has a mysterious fluid in his knee with cause still yet to be determined even weeks later and nobody can say when he'll even practice again. riiiight.

Sounds like it. Almost every other injury of this sort, you at least hear of some kind of timetable for their return to the court. We can't even find out when he'll be practicing again. And it's not like he just got hurt.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't Asik have some sort of knee surgery before entering the nba?
