It's true that he may not, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't think he can.

No way crennel ever gets a head coaching job. He is the same age as Wade (will never get another head coaching job). And has a helluva lot less success as a head coach

If you mean Romeo, I doubt it. He'll make 3.4 million from KC if he doesn't work. And as stated by J.R. if he takes a job he won't get that money. I doubt anyone would pay him that much. May depend on how bad he wants to coach at his age.

I was under the impression that he still gets that much money, but KC would be liable for the difference in money from what the Texans are willing to pay. In other words, he won't lose any money by coaching.

I know if it was me, I'd sit my ass at home and collect the 3.4 million.

Your understanding is correct. His salty is offset by whatever the texans pay him.

Wouldn't romeo make more money by moving the income state from California to Texas ?

defense was the worst in creating turnovers, the defense was in the bottom 5 in red zone defense.
the texans being in the top in yards per game, because they usually gave big yards in penalties (PI), and those doesnt count.

the environment of the coaching staff goes from southern conservative stubborness to a liberal, more flexible one where communication flows better and basically its not as lame as it used to be

good hire since he is a proven dc. i always thought kubes made a huge mistake as he was unproven and he surrounded himself with other unproven coaches. kubes and his staff cut their teeth with the texans and it showed.

He had Mike Sherman calling pays for those couple years before he went on to Texas A&M. I think that's when the offense was really good and unpredictable.

If we don't get Romeo for whatever reason, maybe we can give Marvin Lewis a call. I have a feeling he's about to get the Flip Saunders treatment.

So I guess it's all about him wanting to coach are he could be waiting for a better job offer.

The two years Sherman was here were our two worst offensive years under Kubiak up until this season. Some of that has to do with personnel but still, it wasn't good.
