    No.

The point is that apparently even people with good intentions within Islam are not always protected from their funds being used for violent purposes by people within the same religion.

Is this not relevant to the question the thread is about?

I'm more shocked by how flippantly you state this fact than by your acquaintance(s). At any rate, i'm sure you've done your duty & reported them.

By "everyone", do you mean "practicing muslims"?

Anyone notice how the two biggest anti-Muslims on this forum (Izak and AroundTheWorld) don't live in Houston (or even the US)? bigtexxx is something else. He hates anyone who isn't a rich, white Republican.

You should probably get out more.

I went to the most diverse university in the country and a very diverse high school. The Muslims who prayed at school were always be calm, happy, and collected. The exact opposite of violent. Those are the ones who I base my argument off of because they practice the religion and they were in the same school as me.

A British man came to Sheikh and asked: Why is it not permissible in Islam for women to shake hands with a man? The Sheikh said: Can you shake hands with Queen Elizabeth? British man said: Of course no, there are only certain people who can shake hands with Queen Elizabeth. Sheikh replied: Our women are queens and queens do not shake hands with strange men. Then the British man asked the Sheikh: Why do your girls cover up their body and hair? The Sheikh smiled and got two sweets, he opened the first one and kept the other one closed. He threw them both on the dusty floor and asked the British: If I ask you to take one of the sweets which one will you choose? The British replied: The covered one. The Sheikh said: That's how we treat and see our woman.

That is really stupid. Did the British man ask why a woman cannot lead in prayer? Or why it takes 4 MEN to be witnesses for a woman to prove that she was raped? Or why it says that it is permissible for a man to beat his wife? or why in several verses in the Quran the wife must OBEY the husband?

Seriously go tell an independent western woman that they must OBEY their husband and see their reaction. If one were to follow Islam literally, it treats their women like garbage. However, luckily most Muslims at least the ones living in the west abide my western rules when it comes treating women. Hence, why most of my female cousins are Muslim yet don't wear hijabs and are highly educated ladies that would b**** slap their husband if their husband told them "You must obey me".

    In which country? Saudi Arabia?

FYI, the high powered men there are corrupt as ****. As long as they have all the oil and they're allies with the US then it will continue to be this way.

Christian marriage vows says till death do us part, yet 50% of marriages end up in divorces. The only one taking serious to an extreme is you, buddy.

He should of asked the Sheikh why it's permitted to hit your wife or sell your daughter for cattle (i realize this is not the case for all Muslims). Must be all the respect they have for women.

I posted the stats earlier. They are self-explanatory and from reputable websites. I don't care if you guys can't understand them or just like b****ing about people with different beliefs.

    :)

It's sad that at least that you didn't pick up on the sarcasm. I hope you're joking.

So...you are not acquainted with any terrorist(s) harbouring fantasies of blowing up the astrodome?
My apologies for the failure of my sarcasm meter.
