Cena wins the rumble AND the belt, challenges himself, and achieves double-unification of the belts at Wrestlemania.
Haha. I always thought it'd be cool angle for a heel champion to go into Royal Rumble and compete to give himself THE NIGHT OFF WITH PAY at Wrestlemania. Of course he wouldn't win, but it'd be interesting to see that play out.
I think its more likely Orton and Cena go for the title at the Rumble, Orton wins but not clean. Bryan wins the Rumble. Cena and Bryan build up some animosity, Cena works his way into the Main Event at Mania for the Belt against Orton who everybody hates by now and Bryan who is the underdog. If I was a writer this is the road I would take no doubt! They need a big time Wrestlemania match because they have unified the belts (sorta) I would let Bryan win the belt at Mania and everybody will eat it up! I don't really watch it that much anymore, i have just got back into it. Because i heard the product was getting a bit better. Last weeks Raw was the first i have really payed attention to in like 6 years.
I honestly think the in in-ring talent is the best it's ever been. Bryan, Punk, Cesaro, the Shield, Ziggler. Orton, Del Rio and even Cena are much better than they are given credit for. The writing and Mic work at on the other hand are at an all-time low, and that is what really drives this product. Other than Punk, none of the guys are great at cutting interesting promos IMO.
The PG rating stuff has really turned me off to it, i know its mostly for kids but it used to be fun for everybody now i can barely sit thru a Raw. but the wrestling has definitely improved, they have gone away from just hiring ex-football players that look scary and have started getting more guys that actually want to be wrestlers. Like Ziggler lol I love how he takes bumps, reminds me of HBK!

Speaking of botches, I found this: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/N8kZWwNYUZg?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Correction. It's not Botch Cara. It's Sin Botcha. And Batista being back is kinda interesting. Obviously they are making up for the Rock/Austin not going to be Mania this year. This brings some more intrigue. It's funny how Wrestlemania is fast becoming Past vs Present matchups. So these are the big names involved for Mania: Cena, , Orton, Matchup predictions? Taker vs. Brock (STREAK ON THE LINE) HBK/HHH vs. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan John Cena vs Randy Orton vs. Batista- WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Orton v. Bryan v. Punk title match Lesnar v. Undertaker Cena v. Batista 3 (heel in the authority) Ambrose v. Langston (IC title, dropping US title) Rollins/Reigns v. Cody/Goldust v. USO's v. Big Show/Mysterio tag titles Wyatt's v. some combo of Sheamus/Del Rio/Miz/Jericho/RVD/Christian or whoever Nattie/AJ snack break Bought lower level WM tickets, if Bryan doesn't finally get a great run at champion I have no clue what WWE has wasted their time on the last 8 months.
This Daniel Brian angle is terrible, you have the most over guy in the company and now your going to "when in doubt heal him out?", this is BS no one can pass cena with crap like this, your now going to confuse the hell out of the audience who love the guy and try and bury him
^^^ I don't think you could be any wronger. People love the Wyatt's, this is an excellent angle. I believe somehow this will keep fans intrigued with Bryan while keeping him out of the title picture. He'll come out of it pretty soon as an even bigger face and propel that momentum into hopefully a Wrestlemania title win. The payoff will come, just be patient.
I tend to agree, the Wyatts are really interesting and they cut some good promos... if they can pull this angle off right it could be awesome! also it can help the Wyatts gain some more traction which i think is good.
I am excited that they advertised Irwin R. Schyester for the upcoming "Old School Raw." Hopefully he comes looking for his son.
this reminds me of my attitude here on CF <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/DhBB8PRP7v8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
So once again it appears Wrestlemania is gonna be littered with part-timer old guys. Taker, Batista and Lesnar are all but confirmed. Triple H and HBK are also rumored. Last year had 4 guys in the 3 final matches (only Punk and Cena were regulars). 28 also had 4 part timers Jericho,Taker,Triple H,Rock, again only Cena and Punk at the top of the card. I'm sure Orton will be there this year, but again he is a long established star. This company wonders why no guys are elevating to star level, this is why. It may cost you some mania buys, but you will benefit in the long run by giving guys extended pushes, not a chance here and a chance there.
