These coaches and announcers who are stuck in the mud about running clock need to face the reality of today's NFL. With a 2nd-and-goal with 5 minutes left, it does the Eagles no good at all to "run some clock". Saints will have plenty of time to move the ball within FG range. IMO, scoring when they did is like a 2-for-1 for the Eagles and guarantees they get another chance if the Saints score.
Damn, Eagles would almost be better off letting them get a TD from here... they're not gonna get the ball back.
Problem is if New Orleans is smart, they go down at the 1 yard line and have an XP to win it. Right now, it's at least a 40 yard field goal so there's some chance of failure.
Kyrie Robinson probably would've scored there if they had let him. Scrub like that wouldn't know any better/or pass up a playoff TD.
Great season for the Eagles. Always tough to lose a playoff game at home, especially like this. IMO, the winner of SFO/GB has a great chance to win at Carolina.
