I'll reserve judgement because I haven't seen the video and I've grown up watching Worrell since a kid. However, race should never be brought up in a broadcast of a basketball game. Worrell knows this, so I'm not sure why he would refer to Calvin or Clyde as too "black guys". Can somebody post the video?
It's all in the context in how it was used. But why does Bill need to call that obvious fact out is my question, seems odd for sure. I'll need to hear the segment and conclude from there.
Yup. Was saying it how my friends pronounce it. Lol. Cracks me up. Said right, "ese" is "eh-seh". No "Y" or "A" sound in it. No harm, no foul though. Just funny when somebody refers to you as a written document. Especially when you never use the word "ese", because you don't speak spanish (lol).
He's true though. Even during that segment, Cavin mentioned that Bill has a lot of experience with "race relations" hahahahah I love those two
hmm. wonder why that is? But it doesn't bother me. Many people are just too sensitive, but I understand why.
I can only find one person on Twitter that mentioned this. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Is it just me, or did Bill Worrell just drop a "The 2 black guys are taking over the show!" on Calvin & Clyde?</p>— David Weiner (@BimaThug) <a href="https://twitter.com/BimaThug/statuses/419313413442260992">January 4, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Not true. As a reminder, Black History month is next month so there will be plenty of talk about it. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/NpPoJWTwA-4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Xfy3qQgA_PI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You do realize Bill is a minority in Houston ? Much humor is the underdog cracking jokes about the majority. : ) Worm turns as does the world, and please Bill is best friends with those guys and thank gawd he's free enough to play with them. That said is was a "little uncomfortable" but if people hear malice or whatever it's because they look out at a world through bias eyes and look for problems instead of solutions, hatred instead of love.
There is no need to spend your time deciding what Bill meant. The whole show had everyone laughing and joking because, THEY ARE ALL GOOD FRIENDS AND CLOSE BUDDIES> no more public executions please. everybody. chill out.
