lol if they go by votes, then yeah... him and Curry are the next 2 in line after Kobe/CP3... that would set up some epic threads here on CF. CANT WAIT!
No, Blake and Jordan picked it up for them. But looking at their upcoming schedule, there is almost no better time for him to get hurt, if he were to get hurt at all. They play some bad teams for the month of Jan.
I think I might have worded the first comment wrong. Out of every team in the NBA, he is second most important to his team.
might need surgery, could be torn labrum Ken Berger reported Friday that his sources say Chris Paul's injury has an unknown timetable and a league source says it's "too early to speculate." Berger also offers up the possibility of a torn labrum and/or surgery, but that sounds like pure speculation on his part. For what it's worth, it sounds like that is a possibility but that the source and all parties would like to wait until an MRI on Saturday before staking their claim to any timeline. The 3-5 week timeline still sounds like a minimum marker and the possibility of surgery would only add to that, and owners should probably stick with what we know now and only give loose credence to anything beyond that. - See more at: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1294937&p=38088047#p38088047

Totally agree. Seeding along with home court is going to be huge this year. The top 6 teams are so close in terms of talent and potential level of play that even the 1st round will be extremely difficult. IMO the Thunders are the team no one wants to play (assuming WB is healthy), with the Spurs, Warriors, Clippers, Blazers and Rockets in a crapshoot, basically fighting to gain any advantage over the other, wether that be home court or matchup. Ideally those teams want to face the suns (7th) or Mavs (8) in the first round instead of each other. 3-5 weeks without CP3 seriously hurts the clippers chances of not only getting a top 2 seed, but also even getting ANY home court advantage. Assuming the Warriors stay healthy, I expect them to win the pacific division and supplant the clippers in the battle for a top 4 seed.
Can someone get a GIF of him falling. It kinda looked like he tried to flop and fell hard... Just want to see it slowed down.
not a gif, but this should work. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/XzK1IUmNtgU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
With Melo and Dwight in mind, a torn labrum would probably cook the Clippers' goose for this season. They need CP3 to be 100% to make a Finals run and dealing with the on/off pain of a small labrum tear on his shooting arm would blow that up. If he opts for surgery, 'nuff said. Let's hope the 3-5 week "minimum marker" ends up actually happening.
