I am loving BO'B during this press conference. He is a very good communicator and gets his point across clearly. I have never been this excited as a Texans fan. He is making me as a fan ready to go out and put the pads on. The players are going to love playing for this guy.
Rick Smith is a friend of a friend and I've spoken with him before. He's an awesome guy. Y'all are crazy.

BOB already showing a little personality at the press conference. Obviously not the robot that Kubes was. Love it.
Brady (incident) on the sidelines? Come on now. It's a competitive sport. Brady is a great friend, great teammate, fantastic player, good guy to coach. These things happen. There was a camera on it. ... That quickly passed.
Quick turnaround? I think this is a football team, having just gotten here, but listening to Rick and Mr. McNair and Cal, there are pieces in place here. It's all about hard work. I'm not into labels. You have to get to work. One game and day at a time. In this league, the goal is to make the playoffs, then once you get in, you got a shot.
Great question by Matt Jackson. At first McNair seemed really annoyed to have to answer a serious question, and then he seemed like he enjoyed explaining it.
When McNair lays out the reasoning for why he wanted someone with previous HC experience and why sometimes (60%?) coordinators fail, do you hear him being critical of Kubiak?
I have never been more fired up about a coaching hire in Houston sports history than BO'B. JVG comes second.
Yep, heard that. Saying that he needed a coach with previous HC experience so he could make critical decisions about coaches and players. One of Kubiak's main flaws. Don't know if this was mentioned yet but another comment I noticed was from Rick Smith. The question regarding how his relationship will be with Bill O'Brien: "My relationship with Bill will be exactly the same... We will work hand in hand with making decisions blah blah" He was about to say it would be the exact same as it was with Kubiak and he stopped himself. So I assume he'll be Bill O'Brien's lap dog and O'Brien will be running the show.
