    Should this even be up for debate. Live sucks. Even giving EA years to try to perfect it and it still sucks.

    Live sucks compared to 2K.
    However if you have tons and tons of cash to spare get both.

    I love the actual game of 2k14, it is amazing...problem is it is glitchy...bigger problem is that 2k has a sort of DRM in the game. Any time their servers go down (which is often...) you simply can't play your saved games...the singleplayer modes that is...all because everything in the game uses 'VC' and VC has to connect to their servers to operate.

    2K is much better than Live, although it seems to have stagnated since 11 (probably due to a lack of competition from EA).

    I wish there was a 3rd company that could make an NBA game- didn't 989 sports used to? What ever happened to them?

    I'm considering buying a PS4 with 2k14, Ghosts and the 1 year online membership. I already have 2k14 for PC which is meh. I know you are anti-2k from previous posts, but do you think it's worth it? Should I skip it or wait until more games come out?

    I already bought an iPad Air and a Nexus 5, but I'm not sure about the PS4.

    2k is awesome on xbox one - but... they are WACK with the VC!!!!!

    you can make no moves as a gm without paying for VC- unless you want to play every game

    Im waiting on 2k15, i think people who jumped on the ps4 early will regret getting it so soon.
    First games on the new systems are like a beta basically

    NBA live is just that bad... I still wish player controls were more responsive on 2k - takes approximately 0.25 of a second for the player to respond to your commands with the pro-stick... but, it's still tremendously fun...

    2k14 all the way...
