I've only seen Bortles tonight and against UofH. He looked a LOT better tonight. He might be worth a 1st rounder, maybe not. I sure hope the Texans don't bet the farm on this guy.

I've only seen a BUNCH of highlight films and last night's game versus Baylor from Bortles, and I'm not that impressed by his passing abilities. When compared to Bridgewater, it's not even close.
Because that's exactly what we're looking for in our next QB, and what translates best to the NFL game to boot.
Just googled her. Not saying she's not hot, but you clearly don't know about UCF girls. She is pretty much par for the course.
Last night was the first time I've ever seen Bortles. I'm no expert and this was just one game, but these were the concerns that I had: 1. Throwing mechanics: Seemed to have his lead shoulder fly open on occasion, and faded away/threw off his back foot several times. 2. Didn't look completely confident hanging in the pocket, seemed to get happy feet. 3. He had 4-5 inaccurate/uncatchable passes, where I would typically expect 1-2. As everyone had been saying in the media, he looks the part in stature and build. He didn't have the rushing stats during the season, but he looked like a rushing threat last night. Seems like he could grow into a good NFL QB, but my gut says he'll need a little more time to develop than the other QBs in the draft mix.

So BOB prefers QBs who can't throw it accurately beyond 15 yards and can't throw it less than 100mph when it's closer than 15 yards? Sure.
Maybe someone in this thread can help on this. What was the hype of QBs like Big Ben, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Bree's,Andy dalton, Russell Wilson, kapernick ,coming out of college. Do their hype compare to any of the QBs coming out in this draft. Most of the above were drafted later in the first round second rounders, but what was the hype. The QB coming out now seem to have high draft grades so I'm just curious.
