Christ, people. James Harden is one of the top players in the NBA. We stole him from the Thunder. Get off his ass.

 

Harden was the only one that showed up offensively for the Rockets on New Years Eve. Meanwhile Parsons, Lin, Dwight, Casspi couldn't hit the side of a barn.

 

I think its crossing the boundaries of being a reasonable sports fan by feeling the need to dictate what a player should be doing with their personal time, however, I'm very positive that if Harden's effort wasn't questioned soooo much like it has been this season, most people would care less what he did in his personal life. Like I said in a thread recently, I was a huge fan of Harden and will root for him as long as he is on the team, but this year I have lost a lot of respect for him. Whenever your effort is questioned on a consistent basis it makes me question what you're made of and if you have what it takes to be a winner. People will continue to scrutinize Harden's every move on and off the court until he decides to bring a more consistent effort at the very least.
